The people as a whole around the world normally wake-up at dawn. After waking up they start their routine day in their own way. There is uniformity among most of the people regarding how they commence their days. But a Christian, particularly a Catholic should start his/her day in a different way as desired and commanded by his/her Heavenly Father and Divine Redeemer. One must understand that even though people of a country or place have similarity in appearance there is vast difference in their outlook and beliefs depending the different religions and faiths they adhere to. For instance, in an Indian neighbourhood, one can see people belonging to different religions and practising them. There are Hindus, Christians, Muslims, Jains, Buddhists, etc. More or less they all look alike. But their way of living, ideals, attitudes, food habits, clothes, etc have big disparity. While most Christians and Muslims prefer to eat meat and fish, some Hindus and Jains do not. While a Christian strongly believes that the life on this earth is granted for only once, a Hindu thinks that after one's death, he will reincarnate as a human being or animal based on the merits of his actions. While a Christian is commanded by the Lord to love his enemy to enter the Kingdom of God, a Muslim is taught to finish his enemy off to get an entry into the heaven..! Now if you are a Christian or Catholic, upon waking up, the first thing to do is to remember with gratitude your Father God through the Saviour Lord. - First piously (slowly and meaningfully) make the 'Sign of the Cross' on your body + Vishuddha Kurisinte adayaalathaale (draw a CROSS on the forehead with the thumb) + njangalude shathrukkalil ninnu njangale rakshikkaname (make a CROSS sign on the lips) + njangalude Thampuraane (make a CROSS sign on the chest) + Pithaavinteyum Puthranteyum Parishuddhanmavinteyum Naamatthil. Aamen. [Visuddha Kurishinte in English: "In the sign of the Holy Cross + protect us from our enemies + our Lord + In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. - Thank the Heavenly Father through Lord Jesus Christ for granting you another day to live and earn virtues for the eternal life. - Seek the help of the Holy Spirit for Grace not to fall in sins and to live a life pleasing God. - Surrender yourself and all your dear ones under the feet of the Lord and pray for His protection. There are many devoted Catholics who take a lot of pain to participate in the daily Holy Mass without break. While participating in the Sunday Mass is an obligation, making a Holy Sacrifice (Qurbana) every day is very graceful and highly appreciable by God. Every human being who thinks he is a Christian must read at least a small portion (paragraph) from the Holy Bible every day in his life [in the morning itself]. The versus in the Holy Bible are God's Words. The Word of God is living. It is Lord Jesus Christ..! By reading the Holy Bible meditatively for some time, one can feel God speaking to him/her! A person who fails to read the Bible every day is not a Christian. Never read the newspaper nor switch on the TV or mobile phone before reading the Word of God! The next most important spiritual practice one should make daily without fail is praying the Holy Rosary prayers. There are two types of Rosary prayers. The Divine Mercy Rosary and the Blessed Virgin Mother's Rosary. Every Catholic must recite at least one each of these Rosary Prayers daily (without break). Dear friend, if you do not have the habit of doing these things, please start from today. We do not know how many more days we will get in this world to practice these spiritual things and earn for our eternity!
I have been celebrating Onam festival since childhood with much pomp and gaiety. Because that was one of the few occasions when we were served sadya (vegetarian meal with many curries and payasam)on plantain leaves. We were also given full freedom to play and make merry throughout. Even when we lived outside Kerala, every year we used to celebrate onam with due importance until recently. More than resident Keralites, I think such celebrations bring more happiness in the non-resident Keralites as it gives a reason for all the Malaylees to gather, chew the cud of their nostalgic memories and utter cheers. We were taught in our childhood that Onam is the harvest festival of the people of Kerala. We were also taught and made to believe that onam is the cultural festival celebrated by all Malayalis without any religious difference. However I could notice that it was Hindus and Christians that celebrated onam blindly. Muslims in my neighbourhood rarely celebrated it and that too in a limited manner. According to the myth that is linked with onam, Kerala was once ruled by a demon king named Mahabali who was depicted as a benevolent and just ruler. Seeing his popularity among his subjects and the prosperity of the land, the devas (gods) became jealous and complained to their head to do away with Mahabali. Then god vishnu disguised as a poor dwarf brahmin named Vamana and appeared before king mahabali and begged for land that can be measured by his foot 3 times. The king promised it immediately. Suddenly vamanan grew into a very huge size and measured the whole of sky with his one foot and the whole earth with his second foot. As there was no more space for the king to offer, obviously he bowed before vishnu and offered his head to place his third foot. Vishnu stepped on mahabali's head and pushed him down to the netherworld..! Before being pressed down in to the hell, he asked for a boon to visit his people once every year and that was granted..!
Today when I make a self analysis about the appropriateness of celebrating onam in the Christian (Bible) principles, I realize and state that it is improper for the Christians to observe onam. [If I was asked whether it is appropriate for the Christians to celebrate onam a few years ago, I would have strongly said 'yes']! There are many valid reasons in support of my declaration. If you read the Holy Bible, you will find answers whether to hold such celebrations or not. [Please read the book of Deuteronomy in the Holy Bible]. Onam is not linked with any religion or faith. As Hinduism does not prohibit any such celebrations, there is no harm for them to celebrate it. But for a Christian believing any such mythsor observing such festivals is forbidden. When Christianity believes that demons (asuras) are satanic how can we accept one from their community as a king..? Even logically, how can anyone welcome a devil if he comes from the hell to visit his dear ones every year..? It is very sad and condemnable to see some Catholic Priests connecting onam and other pagan practices in the Church and more horribly during the Holy Mass. It is nothing but what is warned by the Word God in Matt 24:15, “You will see ‘The Awful Horror’ of which the prophet Daniel spoke. It will be standing in the holy place.” (Note to the reader: understand what this means!) Some people may think and fear that if we do not join in celebrating the festivals of our Hindu neighbours, will we disrupt religious harmony? Never! Every Christian is obliged to love everyone irrespective of his race or religion as all are created by God and are His children. But we should not have any other gods other than 'Yahweh', the One and only Living God! കേരളീയരുടെ ദേശീയോത്സവം എന്ന് കൊട്ടിഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഓണം ഒരിക്കല്കൂടി സമാഗതമായി! ജാതിമതഭേദമന്യേ ഏവരും അതിനുള്ള തയ്യാറെടുപ്പുകൾ തുടങ്ങിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു; എന്നാല് അതിന്റെ വൈരുദ്ധ്യവും, ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിക്ക് ഇതുമായുള്ള ബന്ധത്തെയും കുറിച്ച് അല്പം ഒന്ന് ചിന്തിക്കാം. ഇത് വായിക്കുമ്പോള് ആരും നെറ്റി ചുളിയ്ക്കണ്ട എന്നുകൂടി ഓർമ്മപ്പടുത്തുന്നു!!! ഇതിലൊക്കെ എന്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന നിസ്സംഗതയ്ക്ക് ചിലപ്പോൾ വലിയ വില കൊടുക്കേണ്ടി വരും! -
വാമനനും, മാവേലിയും!
കെട്ടുകഥകളുടെ ആകെത്തുകയായ ഹിന്ദുമതത്തിലെ അനേകം അന്ധവിശ്വാസങ്ങളില് പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ടതാണ് അവതാരകഥ! ഹൈന്ദവ സങ്കല്പമനുസരിച്ച് മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിന്; മത്സ്യത്തില് ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന പത്ത് അവതാരങ്ങളുണ്ട്, ഇവയില് രണ്ട് അവതാരങ്ങളാണ് വാമനനും പരശുരാമനും.
മാവേലിയെ പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു ചവിട്ടിതാഴ്ത്താന് അവതരിച്ചത് വാമനനാണെന്ന് ഇവര് പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു, പരശുരാമന് മഴുവെറിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് കേരളമുണ്ടായെന്നും പറയപ്പെടുന്നു? അവതാരക്രമത്തില് വാമനനുശേഷമാണ് പരശുരാമന് അവതരിച്ചതെന്നും ഹിന്ദുക്കള് പറയുന്നു. അപ്പോള്, രസകരമായ ഒരു ചോദ്യം!
കേരളം ഭരിച്ചിരുന്ന മാവേലിയെ ചവിട്ടിത്താഴ്ത്താന് ദേവലോകത്തുനിന്നു വാമനന് വന്നുപോയതിനുശേഷമാണോ കേരളം നിര്മ്മിക്കാന് പരശുരാമന് മഴുമായി എത്തിയത്? എങ്കിൽ മാവേലി ഭരിച്ചത് ഏതു കേരളമായിരിക്കും?? മനുഷ്യന്റെ ബൗദ്ധീകനിലവാരത്തെ പരിഹസിക്കുന്ന ഇത്തരം കെട്ടുകഥകളുടെ പിറകേ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ രക്ഷകനായി സ്വീകരിച്ചവർ പോകരുതെന്ന് ആദ്യമേ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു! (1599ലെ ഉദയംപേരൂര് സൂനഹദോസിലെ കനോനകളില് ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികള് ഓണം ആഘോഷിക്കരുതെന്ന് നിഷ്ക്കർഷിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്)
മഹാബലി ഒരു അസുരനാണ്. അസുരന് എന്നാല് തിന്മയുടെ മൂര്ത്തി. തൃക്കാക്കരയപ്പന് എന്നത് ഭാരതത്തിലെതന്നെ ഏക വിഷ്ണു സങ്കല്പമാണ്. വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ വാമനാവതാരമാണ് തൃക്കാക്കരയപ്പന് അഥവാ ഓണത്തപ്പന്! ഇതില്നിന്നു വ്യക്തമാകുന്ന ഒരുകാര്യം; ഓണത്തപ്പന് എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് മാവേലിയെയല്ല, വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ അവതാരമായ വാമനനെയാണ്. അതിനാല്തന്നെ ഓണമെന്നത് ഹൈന്ദവരുടെമാത്രം ഒരുത്സവമാണെന്നു കൂടി മനസ്സിലാക്കാം.
മഹാബലിക്കഥയുടെ ചരിത്രം!
ക്രിസ്തുവിനു മുന്പ് ആറാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടില് അസ്സീറിയന് സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ തലസ്ഥാനമായിരുന്നു “അസ്സർ ബാല്” ഈ നഗരത്തിന്റെ ദേവനും
അങ്ങിനെ ബാല് “അസ്സർ ബാല്” എന്ന് വിളിക്കപ്പെടുവാന് തുടങ്ങി . (എലോം രാജാവായ Khumma-Khaldash മൂന്നാമനെ അസ്സീറിയന് ചക്രവര്ത്തി Ashurbanipal, യുദ്ധത്തില് തടവുകാരനായി പിടിച്ചതോടെ എലോം രാജ്യം ചരിത്രപരമായി തുടച്ചു നീക്കപ്പെട്ടു . എലാമുകളില് ഒരു വിഭാഗം ആളുകളെ തടവുകാരായി പിടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.)
ഈ പ്രവചനം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക! ഞാൻ ഏലാമിന്റെ മേല് ദിഗന്തങ്ങളില്നിന്നു കാറ്റുകളെ അയയ്ക്കും. അവര് നാലുപാടും ചിതറും. ഏലാമില്നിന്ന് ഓടിപ്പോകുന്നവര് അഭയം തേടാത്ത ഒരു രാജ്യവും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയില്ല. ജറമിയ 49:36. നിരന്തരമുള്ള അസ്സീറിയന് ആക്രമണങ്ങളും അധിനിവേശങ്ങളും, അവിടെ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന എലാമുകളുടെ ജീവിത രീതിയെ ബാധിച്ചു. കാലക്രമേണ ഏലാമുകൾ ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് കുടിയേറിപ്പോൾ അവർ കൂടെ കൊണ്ടുപോന്ന “അസ്സർ ബാല്” അസുരബലി ആയി മാറി എന്നാണ് ചരിത്രകാരന്മാർ പറയുന്നത്.
മഹാബലിപുരവും ബാബേല് ഗോപുരവും തമ്മിലുള്ള കഥയിലെ സാമ്യവും, അവിടുത്തെ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങള്ക്ക് അസ്സീറിയന് ക്ഷേത്ര സമുച്ചയങ്ങളുടെ രീതികളോടുള്ള സാമ്യവും ഇതിന് പിന്തുണ നല്കുന്നു. The Great Baal അങ്ങിനെ ഇന്ത്യയില് മഹാബലി ആയി മാറി. ബാബേല് ഗോപുരം നിര്മ്മിച്ച നിമ്രോദ് തന്നെയാണ് തന്നെത്താന് ദൈവമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു പിന്നീട് ബാല് ആയി മാറിയത് എന്നും ഇക്കൂട്ടത്തില് ഓര്ക്കണം . (അതായത് ബാബേല് ഗോപുരം പണിതത് ബാല്, മഹാബലിപുരം പണിതത് ബലി ! രണ്ടും മുകളില് നിന്നും തകര്ക്കപ്പെട്ടു ).
മഹാബലി വര്ഷം തോറും ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് വരുകയും പിന്നീട് പാതാളത്തിലേക്ക് തിരികെ പോകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ ബാലും ആണ്ടോടാണ്ട് ജീവിക്കുകയും മരിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യും എന്നാണ് മെസപ്പെട്ടോമിയൻ വിശ്വാസം!(ഈ മഹാബലിപുരവും കേരളത്തിലല്ല എന്നുള്ളതാണ് കൗതുകം)
മെസപ്പെട്ടോമിയയില് നിന്നും വണ്ടി കയറിയ ബാല് അങ്ങനെ ഇപ്പോൾ കേരളത്തിലെ ക്രിസ്തീയ ദേവാലയങ്ങളില് വരെ എത്തി നില്കുന്നു!
അവസാനം ഒരു കാര്യമേ പറയാനുള്ളൂ മത സൗഹാര്ദം കാണിക്കേണ്ടത് മറ്റു മതങ്ങളുടെ ആചാരങ്ങളെയും ദേവന്മാരെയും പള്ളിക്കകത്ത് വിളിച്ചു കയറ്റിയിട്ടല്ല, മറിച്ച് ഇതര മതസ്ഥരെ സ്നേഹിക്കുകയും അവരെ സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതിലൂടെയാണ്. പള്ളിയില് അത്തപ്പൂ ഇടീലും ഓണാഘോഷവും നടത്തിയാല് അത് എങ്ങിനെ മത സൗഹാര്ദം ആകും?
യേശുക്രിസ്തു പറഞ്ഞ ഈ വചനം ഓർക്കുക: “ദാനിയേല് പ്രവചിച്ച വിനാശത്തിന്റെ അശുദ്ധലക്ഷണം വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തു നില്ക്കുന്നതു കാണുമ്പോൾ” – ‘വായിക്കുന്നവൻ ഗ്രഹിക്കട്ടെ’- മത്തായി 24:15.
വെറും ഒരു കെട്ടുകഥ; കാലക്രമത്തില് സ്വീകാര്യത നേടുകയും, പിന്നീട് ഒഴിച്ചുകൂടാനാകാത്ത ആചാരമായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന കാഴ്ചയാണ് ഇവിടെ നാം കണ്ടത്!.
അ തിനുശേഷം വിധി എന്ന് നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അതുപോലെതന്നെ ക്രിസ്തുവും വളരെപ്പേരുടെ പാപങ്ങള് ഉന്മൂലനംചെയ്യുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടി ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യം അര്പ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. അവന് വീണ്ടും വരും-പാപപരിഹാരാര്ഥ മല്ല, തന്നെ ആകാംക്ഷാപൂര്വം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ രക്ഷയ്ക്കുവേണ്ടി.

നിങ്ങളുടെ കര്ത്താവ് ഏതു ദിവസം വരുമെന്ന് അറിയാത്തതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങള് ജാഗരൂകരായിരിക്കുവിന്.

സഭ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളിലൂടെ നീങ്ങുമ്പോള് സഭയെത്തകര്ക്കാന് സാത്താന് കിണഞ്ഞ് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുമ്പോള് നമുക്കെങ്ങനെ ഓണം ആഘോഷിച്ച്, ഓണസദ്യയും കഴിച്ച് നിഗളിക്കാന് സാധിക്കും? യേശു പറഞ്ഞു, പ്രാര്ഥനകൊണ്ടല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുകൊണ്ടും ഈ വര്ഗം(പിശാച്) പുറത്തുപോവുകയില്ല.
മര്ക്കോസ് 9 : 29
നാം സഭയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില് ഓണാഘോഷവും ഓണസദ്യയും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് ആന്നേദിവസം നമുക്ക് ഉപവസിച്ച് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കാം.
“യഹോവയായ ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചയ്യുന്നു: നീ അവരുടെ (വിജാതിയരുടെ) ദേവന്മാരെ കുമ്പിടുകയോ ആരാധിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യരുത്. അവരുടെ ആചാരങ്ങള് അനുകരിക്കരുത്.”. പുറപ്പാടു് 23:24.
വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ തൊട്ട് തൊഴാനോ കഴുന്നെടുക്കുന്ന അമ്പ് തൊട്ട് നമസ്ക്കരിക്കാനോ സഭ അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുന്പില് നാം ഓരോരുത്തരും കണക്കുകൊടുക്കണം എന്നോര്ക്കുക.
ദൈവം ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല് വെറുക്കുന്ന കാര്യമാണ് ദൈവമക്കള് അന്യദേവന്മാരുടെ പിറകെ പോകുന്നത്. ഇസ്രായേല്ജനത്തെ ദൈവം ശിക്ഷിച്ചതിന്റെ പ്രധാന കരണം അവര് അന്യദേവന്മാരുടെ പിറകെപോയി വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ആരാധിക്കുകയും കുമ്പിടുകയും വിഗ്രഹാര്പ്പിതവസ്തുക്കള് ഭക്ഷിച്ചതും കൊണ്ടാണ്.
ഇന്ന് തിന്മ പെരുകുന്നതെന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ്? അസമാധാനവും രോഗങ്ങളും ദുഖഃങ്ങളും ദുരിതങ്ങളും വര്ദ്ദിക്കുന്നതെന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ്?. ഒന്നാം പ്രമാണം ലംഘിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടല്ലേ?
അവര് അനശ്വരനായ ദൈവത്തിന്െറ മഹത്വം നശ്വരനായ മനുഷ്യന്െറ യോ പക്ഷികളുടെയോ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയോ ഇഴജന്തുക്കളുടെയോ സാദൃശ്യമുള്ള വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള്ക്കു കൈമാറി.
അതുകൊണ്ട് ദൈവം, അവരെ തങ്ങളുടെ ഭോഗാസക്തികളോടുകൂടെ, ശരീരങ്ങള് പരസ്പരം അവമാനിതമാക്കുന്നതിന്, അശുദ്ധിക്ക് വിട്ടുകൊടുത്തു.
എന്തെന്നാല്, അവര് ദൈവത്തിന്െറ സത്യം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് വ്യാജം സ്വീകരിച്ചു. അവര് സ്രഷ്ടാവിലുമുപരി സൃഷ്ടിയെ ആരാധിക്കുകയും സേവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
റോമാ 1 : 23
നീ നിന്െറ ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവിനെ പൂര്ണ ഹൃദയത്തോടും, പൂര്ണാത്മാവോടും, പൂര്ണമനസ്സോടും, പൂര്ണ ശക്തിയോടുംകൂടെ സ്നേഹിക്കുക.

The Catholic Church Commemorates and Celebrates many Feast Days in honour of the Lord viz His Birth Day, Day of Baptism, Holy Name, His Body & Blood, His Pass Over, Crucifixion, Resurrection, Ascension etc. There are many Feast days dedicated to the honour of the Lord's Mother, His Saints, Martyrs etc and they are observed with great devotion also. These Feast Days function as days of great Blessings and miracles to numerous devotees. There is also a Feast Day Dedicated to the 'Holy Spirit', the third Person in the Holy Trinity. But there was no days specially assigned as the Feast Day of the Creator the Holy and Almighty Father in the Church until recently. But to an Italian visionary and mystic nun by name Mother Eugenia Elisabetta Ravasio who was born on 4th September, 1907 and left for her Heavenly crown on 10th August 1990, the Divine Father appeared and dictated many sacred matters which she wrote down in Latin, a language which she had never known! The main point of this message is God, the compassionate Father asking her to assign and observe one day in the liturgical calendar as the 'Feast Day of the Father of All Mankind' either on the 'First Sunday of August' or on the '7th of August' every year. "Almighty Father, Forgive these rebelling Rev Fathers of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, for they do not know what they are doing..." A group of Reverend Fathers belonging to the Ernakulam-Angamaly Arch Diocese received wide media coverage these days by holding an act which is first-of-its-kind in the history of the Catholic Church. It is not some spiritual, devotional or social activity. It is something they had learnt recently from their gurus fr vattoly and nuns lucy, anupama and team that the easiest way to get publicity and to become heroes these days, is to revolt against the authorities and the organisation they belong. They think they have succeeded in their effort and won the bargain. But the saddest fact is that such senior priests who have left everything to serve the Lord and had been doing so until recently, do not realise the gravity of the sin they have committed for mere momentary worldly benefits. These dissident priests to 'show of their strength' lure and threaten many other innocent priests who really do not vouch to these rebellious activities. But fearing isolation they join this group without knowing what to do. By trying to bring division in the Church of Lord Jesus Who laid Its foundation with His Holy and Precious Blood, they are knowingly or unknowingly supporting the enemies of the Church by betraying It. Their selfish acts cause division confusion and doubts in the minds of the faithful community. Through their public criticisms and hunger-strikes against the Church and Its heads appointed by the Lord, they are supplying ammunition for the weapons of the enemies of the Church. Being priests, if they had true faith in the Lord, they should have observed fasting and knelt in front of the Holy Eucharist to find solution to their concerns instead of holding hunger-strike in the Bishop's House. Are they not aware that by disobeying the Superiors, Cardinal and the order of the Pope in public, they have broken the vow of 'Obedience' which they have promised before their ordination? Is it not a grave sin which is more than sufficient for their dismissal from the Kingdom of God? Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible seriously warns people who cause Stumble to the little ones. In the Holy Gospel according to St Matthew the Lord declares, "If anyone causes one of these little ones--those who believe in me--to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea" (Matt. 18:6). In the Gospel according to St Luke also the Lord's severe warning is mentioned thus, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come!It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble (Lk. 17:1-2).. Then through St Peter, the first Pope and His faithful Apostle, the Lord states the severity of the sin of disobedience, "If this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgement. This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority" (2 Pet. 2:9-10). Obedience or submission to the authority is the core point of Christianity. We are taught and teach others that the angels who refused to obey God have become devils and were thrown in to the hell. Lord Jesus while in human foam fulfilled totally the Wish of the Almighty Father and obeyed Him unto death. Mother Mary obeyed the Divine plan of Salvation by saying Amen. All saints obeyed their superiors without any question even if the orders were sometimes unacceptable and unfair and later proved to be wrong. So if Priests and members of any Religious orders find it difficult to obey their superiors and the by-laws of their congregations, it will be better for them to quit, instead of polluting God's Church and attracting God's greater wrath. If anyone (priests or nuns or laity) who hurt the Church, feels sorry for their deeds and repents, they can always avail God's unfathomable mercy and pardon by approaching God through the authorities whom they have hurt and making a public apology. Otherwise "It would be better for them if they had not been born..!" Lord, have Mercy... Christ, have Mercy... Lord, have Mercy... ...and forgive them for they do not know what they are doing!
