As a result of covid-19 pandemic spread by coronavirus, the KCBC (Kerala Catholic Bishop's Council) has directed the faithful to remain at homes adhering fully to the instructions given by the government authorities.

Hence all the Catholic Churches in the state are closed for the devotees. However the Reverend Priests will perform the Holy Kurbana (Qurbana) Holy Sacrifice and offer for the intentions of their parish members.

Considering the severity of the situation the Faithful are exempted from participating in the Sunday Holy Mass personally in the Churches (which is otherwise mandatory). They are advised to remain in their own homes and participate in the Live Holy Mass telecast on Shekinah Television and on the official FaceBook page and youtube channel of Syro-Malabar Church.

coronavirus effect: KCBC's Directives to Catholics for Holy Mass and other Devotions

On account of the rapid spread of coronavirus in the state of Kerala in India, the health department of the government and the district administrations have been taking elaborate measures to curb the further escalation of the corona virus and the diseases caused by it by name covid-19. 

In the wake of the increase in the transmission of coronavirus, the Catholic Bishop's Conference of India (CBCI) too formulated and published certain guidelines to be followed by the Catholic communities in the Churches and outside to control the proliferation of the fatal virus for which no medicines are discovered yet.

Those instructions shared by the Kerala Catholic Bishops Conference (KCBC) are listed below for immediate action:

In response to the requests made by the Chief Minister of Kerala, The Church has decided either to postpone or cancel most of the Church Festivals, Conventions and Retreats which were scheduled to be held in March month. Please contact directly the particular centers for confirmation. 

Most of the Devotional Practices like the 'Way of the Cross' on Lenten Fridays, Rosary Prayers etc are suspended for time being and only Holy Mass (വിശുദ്ധ കുർബാന) will be celebrated every day without any disruption at this moment.


Important directives to be observed during Holy Mass (Eucharistic Celebrations) with immediate effect until further notice.

1. Holy Communion (Eucharist) is to be received by the hand. 

How to to receive Holy Communion in the hand?

[a] Please make sure that your hands are very clean and pure.. (Of course your hearts too!)

[b] Please stand in the row and show a sign of Reverence by bowing to the Eucharistic Lord in the form of Holy Host when the communicant in front of you is receiving.

[c] Please extend the left hand near the chest with the right hand above it in a cross shape. After receiving the Holy Host in the 'right hand', consume the Holy Body of Christ with utmost reverence and care straight away.

2. How to exchange Peace of the Lord?

Instead of sharing 'Peace' by touching the hands of your neighbours in the Church, look at the eyes of the person near you and whisper slowly a heartily 'peace' with a smile.

3. Kissing and touching of the Holy Cross and other Relics and Statues are to be stopped.

4. Holy water will not be kept or used at the entrance of the Churches.

5. No votive (നേർച്ച) food articles will be allowed/served in the Church.

Please follow these instructions scrupulously and cooperate with the administration for controlling of the coronavirus and the covid-19 diseases.

  *  Those who receive the Holy Body and Blood of God Jesus Christ 'worthily' with true Faith and Devotion will never be affected by any virus or bacteria.

KCBC Temperance Sunday Circular 2020 March 8 മദ്യ വിരുദ്ധ ഞായർ

The 'Temperance Commission', one of the subsidiaries of the 'Kerala Catholic Bishop's Council (KCBC) is observing the second Sunday of March ie 08-03-2020 as 'temperance Sunday' to encourage the anti liquor and drugs movement in the state. In connecting with this, a circular was published by the Temperance commission which was read in all the Catholic Churches in the state during the Holy Mass.

As the liquor use in Kerala has been increasing drastically, it is right time for all the socially concerned people to unite and work for the prevention or total ban of liquor in the state. Even though Kerala is comparatively a small state in India, it ranks 2nd in the amount of liquor being sold and consumed. 

Though the previous UDF government in Kerala headed by former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Finance Minister late K M Many announced and implemented step-by-step liquor ban in the state, the successive LDF government that came to power played a double game and deceived and betrayed the people of the state. In the election manifesto of the LDF before the elections they had promised to strive for discouraging the liquor use in the sate and admonishing against it. But after winning the elections and coming to power, they encouraged the manufacturing, selling and using this evil.

The official figures show that the sale of liquor in Kerala steeply rose to 16 percent in 2019. It is another area the LDF government can boast of growth after corruption, inefficiency and partiality.

The shocking fact about the children of 'God's own country' is that many young ones get addicted to liquor and drugs from very young age of 10. And the maximum number of drunkards are in the age group of 20-24! That means most of the children and youths in Kerala's schools and colleges are drug and alcohol addicts.

Even though families in particular and the society in general are being ruined by the impact of this man-made devilish calamity, the LDF government headed by Pinarayi Vijayan is least bothered about the future of the upcoming generation of the country. The government is showing a deaf ear to the pleas and cries of the vast majority of people including women. 

It took some time for the people of Kerala to understood the double play and double-dealing of the Communist government in Kerala. On the one hand the government is working hard to make Kerala a liquor flowing state by planning to open new distilleries and breweries and by introducing child-friendly alcoholic drinks (so that children can learn drinking effectively), on the other hand campaigning against drugs by giving wide advertisements and pretending as if they are against them. The people are determined to teach it a fitting lesson in the ensuing Assembly Elections this year.

One need not tell that alcohol and drugs are very dangerous for one's both body and soul. Hence everyone has a moral and spiritual responsibility to work against this ungodly practice. For Christians, it is a sin which will block the entry into the Kingdom of God! Many Christians have an opinion that drinking some spirit at home or having a 'decent' liquor party is not a sin..! Please be informed and reminded that the Holy Bible has repeatedly and categorically warned, "No drunkards shall inherit the Kingdom of God." (1 Cor 6:10)

Blessed Carlo Acutis' Eucharistic Website and Virtual Online museum

Following Vatican's official announcement of the approval of a miracle attributed to the intercession of Venerable Carlo Acutis by the Pope Francis on 21st February 2020, Venerable Carlo Acutis is to be beatified and elevated to the 3rd stage ie 'Blessed' in the Holy Catholic Church's sanctification process. 

The miracle attributed for the beatification is the healing of a Brazilian child who was suffering from a rare and incurable disease termed as 'congenital anatomic anomaly of the pancreas in 2013, by the medical science.

Carlo was born on 3rd May, 1991 in London to Italian parents Andrea Acutis and Antonia Salzano who returned to Milan after a couple of years of his birth. During his childhood, he was an ordinary child like other children. He had a lot of friends including believers and non-believers and was very interested in computer science. He used to play computer games and play stations with his friends. But the 'extra special' thing in him was that he held Lord Jesus Christ as his greatest friend.

Even from his childhood he had great love for the Holy Mother of God and prayed the Holy Rosary very frequently, which helped him develop deepest devotion to the Eucharistic Lord and he never missed a Holy Mass from his first Holy Communion at the age of seven. He regularly spent time in front of the Holy Tabernacle either before or after the Holy Mass everyday. He also used to make the Sacrament of confession every week and urged his friends also to do. He always said that the 'Holy Eucharist is my highway to Heaven'.

The Priests and nuns of the local parish Church who observed extraordinary piety in Carlo often used to tell his mother that the Lord had a special plan for her son.

Carlo Acutis was also a gifted computer programmer. He did not use his computer knowledge and interest for his personal entertainment or pleasure as majority of today's children do. Instead, he used all his skills and talents to spread his deep love for the Eucharistic Lord, Who helped him accomplish his mission quickly in this world and Called to HIS glorious Presence at a very young age of 15 and rose him to a position through which millions of people of all ages world-wide will pray for his intercession!

Using his computer knowledge and cyber skills, Acutis compiled all Eucharistic Miracles reported in the world and developed an amazing website which catalogued all the Miracles. This website which is the origin of The Eucharistic Miracles of the World, has an international online virtual exhibition which showcases all such occurrences in detail.

Carlos Acutis died on 12th October, 2006 at 15-age of leukemia. Though he was only 15-years old, he was matured enough to offer all his pains and sufferings  for the Pope and the Church.

What is the meaning of Pethratha Sunday? പേത്രത്താ ഞായർ

Though the Holy Season of Lent commences on the Ash Wednesday in the universal Catholic Church, the Syro-Malabar Church and the Eastern Churches start the 50-days fasting and abstinence (valiya noyambu) on the Sunday before the Ash Wednesday every year. 

Petratha is derived from the Syriac word 'Peturta' which means 'looking back' or 'retrospect' one's own life and make a self evaluation. Many Nazrani people still think that Pethratha is the last day before the commencement of the 7-weeks Lenten Season to feast, eat, drink and enjoy to their heart's content. That is what most of us saw in our homes in our childhood days and were taught. Until some years ago, I was also thinking and practising like that. I used to observe the 50 noyambu without any drinks and non vegetarian food (which was a regular affair then), only on Religious grounds and for the sake of the non Christian community with whom I used to have all those things. The 50-days fasting and abstinence season was somewhat like a tedious time for me even though outwardly I did not reveal it but acted as if I spiritually enjoyed it.


But after attaining awareness and some grace, now I realize and declare that Pethratha is not the eve of a boring period in the liturgical year, but the gateway to a truly rewarding and Graceful Holy season of Lent. Now I do feel and can say that the Lenten Season is the 'best' season in the liturgical calendar. During this season one can make a self examination and make a true repentance for all the sins and transgressions. It is a time to meditate on the great agony the Lord had undergone for my (and your) sake! 

So dear reader, you and I are fortunate as we are still alive now and got another opportunity to examine the past life and to return to God. Here is another chance for us to shun all the vices in our lives and to evade people or things that lead us to sins immediately. We know that many people (young and old) who were with us during this Holy Season last year are no more. So please do not continue to be a fool anymore... This is your day .... and this is your time. If you cannot get rid of certain bad habits that lead to sins, don't worry. There is an easy short-cut which I myself tested and succeeded easily...very easily. Resolve firmly and and make a promise (covenant) with the Holy Mother of Lord Jesus that you will Love God and Honour the Blessed Mother and Pray the Holy Rosary without fail till death. Start Praying Holy Rosary Prayers and see the miracles that happen in your life. The Holy Mother Who is full of God's Grace will grant you necessary Grace and strength for living in this dark world keeping eyes on Lord Jesus and a desire to become a Saint...!

What is Kreupasanam CLAP (Christian Life Assessment Paper)

Kreupasanam has recently introduced a new strategy by name CLAP which is the abbreviation for "Christian Life Assessment Paper". It is meant for those devotees who have made 'udambadi' (covenant) with Lord Jesus Christ through the Kreupasanam Mother of Grace and wish to renew it after 90 days.

So when a devotee comes for the renewal of Udambadi hereafter, he/she will be given a questionnaire at Krepasanam in which certain questions related to his/her udambadi life is asked for assessing that person's spiritual growth. Krepasanam is doubtlessly one of the top pilgrim centers in the world, where majority of the people receive their intentions and wishes in the form of unbelievable miracles, however difficult they appear!

One can see the countless videos of live testimonies by the people themselves who easily and quickly demanded and got their needs and intentions from the Holy Affectionate Mother by being honest in the covenant they made. Numerous people testify that they received their prayers answered instantly or within few minutes, hours or days or within the stipulated time fixed by them.

But in very rare cases, to get the prayers granted, some people have to wait for long periods like months and years. It is because they neither have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ or His Holy Mother. Moreover they also do not bother to keep up with the conditions they voluntarily agreed at the time of making the covenant (udambadi). Without sufficient faith it will be difficult for the Mother to perform miracles. 

Hence CLAP questionnaire paper is given to evaluate the spiritual growth of the devotees. Maximum marks (points) is 100. Certain points will be given for the spiritual activities a devotee involves. For example, if a person participates in the Holy Mass everyday will be given 5 points; only on Sundays will be given 3 points; now and then will be given 2 points; and if not at all attended he will be given 0 point. Like that for regular confession (at least once in 2 weeks)-2 points and likewise points are awarded for ones relationship and activities rendered in own parish Church also.

CLAP is also intended to encourage the charitable and evangelization activities.

Beware of False teaching by Fr Daniel Poovannathil, Br Sajith Joseph: No Hell!

I am sorry. I am withdrawing my remarks mentioned in this article about some anointed and Spirit-filled servants of my LORD JESUS CHRIST. I understand that I have no right to criticise, correct or judge them. I happened to see a video clipping circulated by someone containing some words of my beloved Reverend Priests and a Lay Missionary. That video has been removed from the Youtube channel. So it may be a fabricated one to discredit them and the Catholic Church. I am not deleting this article because if I do so how can I make a public apology for my erroneous assumptions that may have hurt or misguided someone? I am sorry, Dear and Very Respected Fathers Daniel Poovannathil and Michael Panachikkal. I am sorry Brother Sajith Joseph!

I happened to see some videos of some of our favourite preachers like Rev Fr Daniel Poovannathil, Rev Fr Michael Panachikkal V C, Brother Sajith Joseph etc about whom I have also written posts in this blog earlier. But after seeing these video clippings in which they categorically state that there is no hell, I feel that it is completely against the teachings of my beloved Divine Master Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Catholic Church which is HIS mystical body. 

I also feel that it is contrary to the messages shared by my dearest Holy Virgin Mother which I fully believe. Hence I am sharing it here so that my blog visitors also watch it and beseech for Grace and prudence from the Holy Mother which She is eagerly waiting to grant to discern what is right and what is wrong during these end times. 

I am not sharing this post and video to judge anyone even though I have apprehensions about why some chosen and anointed preachers are teaching differently like these! Is it the fulfilment of the warning issued by my Divine Master through Matthew 24:24 "that false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones". 

I make it clear that by sharing this article or the video I am nobody to judge them. I am a humble slave of Lord Jesus and I honour and respect everyone in the world who loves and serves my Beloved Master. Then please understand how much reverence and love I have for anointed and mighty Apostles like them! I request my blog readers not to criticise or hate them, but pray fervently for them and all the servants of God!

With the Grace I received from my Divine Master (Who gives Grace upon Grace from HIS fullness [Jn. 1:16] and from my Holy Virgin Mother (Who is full of God's Grace [Lk. 1:28], I wish to say and exhort every faithful not to believe anyone (whoever it is) who teaches there is no hell or deplore the signs of the time we see now and the messages given by the Lord and His Mother through several chosen ones. 

Lord Jesus Christ has categorically stated that there is a hell and whoever does not repent for his sins while on this earth will end up in that hell. HE has also exhorted us to know from the 'signs of the time' the fulfilment of the prophecies and be on our own guard!

As we are still alive in this 'Age of Grace' and GOD's infinite Mercy is free, instant and easy, please avail it now in 3 simple steps right now without any trouble, price or effort. 

1. Believe in your heart and profess with your mouth that Lord Jesus Christ suffered and died for your sins also.

2. Honestly repent for all your sins (however grave they are) and realise that Lord Jesus Christ suffered for your sins also. (Detest them and resolve not to commit again).

3. Confess directly to the Lord right now, and then to a Catholic Priest when you get a chance.

American Evangelical Pastor Francis Chan Preaches Holy Eucharistic Communion!

The Power of the Most Holy Spirit of the Almighty God has started working more intensely with the break of 2020! [Because HE alone knows exactly that the end of age is imminent]. Many people from all parts of the earth, who have been faithful to their Divine Calling are receiving true enlightenment and discernment to know God's message through St Paul in Philippians 4:8 to think about [seek] anything that is excellent or praiseworthy (such things that is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable...!) Prominent Evangelical Pastor of America, Francis Chan recently received such enlightenment of the Holy Spirit to see and feel the True Presence of Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist!

Francis Chan is an author of many Christian subjects. He is a noted teacher and preacher in protestant churches and related environments in America. He is the founder pastor of 'Cornerstone Community Church' in SimiValley, California, which he started in 1994 and left after growing it to a strong congregation. He is the founder of Eternity Bible College and was its first chancellor. He has also served as a board member of several national and international Christian and social justice organizations.

Recently while delivering a sermon on the occasion of Epiphany in his Church, Francis Chan shocked his Protestant assembly by preaching on the 'Real Presence of Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Communion' and rejecting the exclusively symbolic interpretation of the Holy Eucharist. 

He said, "I didn't know that for the first 1,500 years of the Church history, everyone saw the Holy Eucharist as the literal Body and Blood of Lord Jesus Christ." He also exclaimed, "And it was not till 500 years ago someone popularised a thought that the Holy Eucharist is just a symbol and nothing more. I did not know that!"

Syro-Malabar Church Synod 2020 January 10-15: Circular, video/audio

The Syro Malabar Catholic Church's Bishop's Synod was held from 2020 January 10-15 at Mount St Thomas at Kakkanad, Kochi. The six day conference was guided by the Holy Spirit. Several contemporary issues relating to the Church, Liturgy, Society etc were discussed and decisions were taken unanimously in the light of God's Grace.

Bro Sajith Joseph Healing Ministry address and Phone Number

Brother Sajith Joseph was born to Catholic parents. But during his childhood, his parents were beguiled by some protestant pastors to leave the Catholic Church and to join the Pentecostalism. And when they yielded to their false teachings and switched their faith, obviously he also became a Pentecost as he was too young to think independently. Later he studied Theology in Protestant Seminaries and became a prominent Pastor belonging to the 'Assemblies of God' denomination.  He is the founder of a Pentecostal Church by name 'Grace Community Global'. As he is an anointed evangelist and powerful speaker, he has thousands of followers and his Church has branches in all five continents.

Bro Sajith Joseph was different from the other protestant pastors and believers who are generally blind. Unlike other pastors, God's grace in him opened his mind and gave him a quest to search and find the one and only true Church which is the Body of Christ. His search and research lead him back to the Holy Catholic Church which alone has the Apostolic traditions!

Before 2019 Christmas Bro Sajith Joseph and many members of his group officially joined the Catholic Church in the presence of the Bishop of Punalur and other Priests. Though his move is considered as a bold and courageous one, it has naturally created many blind and stubborn protestants as his enemies. His move is highly welcomed by the spiritual world as there is apparently nothing worldly he may gain through becoming a Catholic except the eternal rewards! [I saw some people criticising him saying he has joined the Catholic Church for worldly benefits! In my opinion as an independent pastor and owner of a well grown organization, there is nothing he may need more as he is some what settled already (worldly speaking!)]

There may be some differences in the perceptions and teachings of individual preachers. If any existing ardent Catholics have any doubts in the homecoming and performance of this chosen 'tool' of God, please ponder over the Words of our Lord Jesus in Mark 9:40 "Whoever is not against us is for us"! Do not doubt him because he is chosen by the Lord God! (Acts 9: 11-15). 

It is not anyone's duty to judge others. As some people strongly allege and criticize, if he has any other ulterior motives behind his professing the Catholic Faith and declaring allegiance to the Universal Church's teachings, there is The WORD that the Lord spoke that will judge him (Jn. 12:48). But be informed that brother Sajith Joseph who has been serving and testifying the Living Word of God, is not a fool to be deprived of the eternal rewards kept ready for momentary worldly gains!

"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work..."(1 Corinthians 3:11-13)


Likewise a person who believes in protestant ideology may find it difficult to digest immediately the fact that Brother Sajith Joseph has left the Protestantism and joined the Catholic Church. Such people are requested to listen calmly to the reasons being shared by him. He received Divine 'Grace' to discern clearly as he was true to his calling even when he was in the pentecostalism. There are some rigid pentacosts who scorn him through social media platforms. They should understand that there were many Jewish people and leaders who persecuted the early Christians, but only Saul was called and converted by the Lord as he was loyal in HIS eyes!

Immediately after joining in the 'Communion of Saints' and seeking the intercession of Holy Mother of God Jesus who is 'Full of God's Grace', the amount of grace and anointment grew in him and he has been performing  wondrous miracles in the Mighty and Holy Name of Lord JESUS Christ who is ever present as the 'Divine Mercy' in the Holy Eucharistic Sacrament.

The Lord is exalting Sajith brother for showing obedience to the Voice of the Holy Spirit in him and confessing and declaring his faith and fidelity in HIS Holy Catholic Church!

Catholic Church Grants Plenary Indulgence Kerala 2020 (പൂർണ ദണ്ഡവിമോചനം)

The dawn of the New Year 2020 arrived in India with an extraordinary gift from Heaven for the Catholic Christians, through Its official representative on earth - the Pope. Period of time (dates and days) to avail 'plenary indulgence' in Kerala:

The Pope has granted plenary indulgence to each and everyone who visits the tomb of the Saint at Mannanam and fulfil the minimum requirements any day during a period one full year (2020). The door of Grace granting plenary indulgence opened on 3rd January 2020 and will be available until 3rd January 2021.

How to avail plenary Indulgence? What are the requirements?

Taking advantage of plenary Indulgence is very simple. [If one knows the actual value of an indulgence, he/she will take any amount of trouble to own it. As mentioned above it is priceless]. There are no physical or financial requirements. 

The only requisite to attain indulgence is to have a desire to be holy and in the Love of the ever loving Divine Father and Redeemer Jesus Christ.

Then observing these simple things will get you complete indulgence.

1. Make a thorough self examination and detect all sins and Detest them with a contrite heart.

2. Make a true 'confession' with a heavy penitent and wailing heart.

3. Participate in the Holy Mass very devoutly and Receive the Holy Communion.

4. Visit the above mentioned pilgrim center and Pray one Our Father ... one Hail Mary ... one Holy be ... for the Pope's intention.

Whoever has done these simple spiritual acts have expiated for their sins (will not undergo temporal punishments) and are now in a holy state and are eligible to go to heaven (in the fortunate event of his/her death) directly without any purification process in the purgatory.

Please rush and grab it as early as possible when you are still alive now!
