Great Jubilee Year 2033 (Maha Jubilee varsham)

Some of us, [if it is the will of our Lord and Divine Master Jesus Christ], may witness the greatest Jubilee the human race can witness, the 2nd millennium jubilee (2000th Anniversary) of the 'Passion, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension of the Savior of the humanity.

In the year 2000 many of us prepared, celebrated and witnessed the Great Jubilee Year which was the 2000th Birth year of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

Now we are spearheading for the Greatest and Holiest Jubilee year 2033, which will be a mega era in the human history that will commemorate the inexplicable agony and Death of God Who incarnated and took the form of man on the Cross (passion of Christ) to redeem the humanity from destruction and His victorious and Glorious Resurrection in 33 AD.

The year 2033 also marks the great 2000th jubilee of the formation of the Christian Church on earth, the institution of the Holy Eucharist (in which Lord Jesus truly comes in the form of bread), the opening of the doors of Paradise, the descent of God's Holy Spirit on Holy Mother Mary and HIS disciples, the advent of the cruelest persecution in the human history on the early Christians.

While the entire Christian world is striving hard for the total evangelization of the whole earth by then, India's leading evangelizing team Christeen together with Shalom also has already commenced different campaigns to welcome the greatest Jubilee year and make it more fruitful. 

It is the duty of every true Christian to proclaim the Gospel (Good News) of the Lord Jesus Christ to others. If anyone believes, we should lead him to the Lord and to His salvation which is a free gift of God. This salvation can be attained only through that person's knowing, loving, believing and accepting Lord Jesus as his/her Saviour and Redeemer. This should not be done (and will be void if) based on any other benefits or offers. Such religious conversions are of no use at all! 

Without proper knowledge and understanding of the Lord and HIS Church, Christians should not indulge in any act of religious conversions as they will not be of any good. What is important is 'conversion of the heart and soul'. 

Christianity does not give guarantee to its members of any material benefits in this worldly life, but promises everlasting life in the 'Kingdom of GOD'! The Holy Bible says thus, "Whoever embraces Christianity for any worldly reasons are most unfortunate and will be disappointed". (1 Cor 15:19)

Fort Kochi Evening Bible Convention by Shalom Team

The 9th Annual Fort Kochi (Cochin) evening Bible Convention by Shalom Team starts today (2015 January 14th to 18th evening 4.00 to 9.00 at Veli grounds in Fort Kochi, Ernakulam Dt, Kerala). 

It is a historical event as this Annual Convention of the 'Word of God' is celebrated for the ninth consecutive years by India's leading Christian Spiritual lay missionaries led by Bro Benny Punnathara the (brain behind the Shalom TV and Ministries), the specially chosen person by God to spread HIS Holy WORD through out the whole world.

Many spirit-filled servants of God are to share the Divine Word and deliver the end time message of the Lord to the people for their salvation. It is very essential for the faithful to participate is such meetings to hear 'the Word of God' and to attain conversion of soul.

The second Catholic Parish in Kakinada of East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh in India, under the jurisdiction of the Arch Diocese of Visakhapatnam "Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church" established by Rev Fr Luke Kallakattil in the year 2004 and later stabilized spiritually and socially by Rev Fr Thomas Choorackal, Fr Anthony Antheenattu, Fr Peter Sebastian and now by Fr Varghese Kalapurakudy.

Please Pray for the Vatican Family Synod which is in progress.

Our Holy Father and the current heir of the throne of the chief of the Apostles of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ, Pope Francis has summoned some 191 representatives of the Universal Catholic Church  including Cardinals, Bishops and some lay family people for a Synod to discuss about some hot-button issues.

As the Pope himself has asked for the Prayers of the devoted Christians around the world as the results of this emergency Synod may affect adversely the Catholic Church in connection with certain worldly issues.

It is already foretold by our Lord 2000 years ago that during the end times, many false teachers and doctrines will appear to mislead even the chosen ones and "When the Son of Man comes, will HE find faith on the earth"?

It is evident that the satan has succeeded to win some priests and religious to act as his hidden agents and thus to harm the Church of the Lord built on the strong foundation 'Peter' (rock).

Though satan is clever and cunning, he does not know that he will pathetically fail in his attempt against  the Lord and HIS Bridal Church, though for some time it may appear as if the victory is with him.

Dear Faithful, let us all unite in Praying for the Vatican synod 2014, that the Holy Spirit the Lord will enlighten the minds of every one participating in it and destroy the secret agenda of satan.

Priests, Start the Holy Mass with 'The Lord Be With you', not good morning...! Philippines Cardinal

The call by Manila's Archbishop Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle to the Catholic Priests of Philippines to  shun the habit of beginning the Holy Eucharistic Celebrations with the worldly greetings 'good morning' and to start the Holy Mass with the spiritual utterances, "The Lord be with you".

This can be followed by the Catholic and Christian Priests world over who have this worldly system of appeasing their faithful. 

The Greetings with Blessings, "The Lord Be With you" once said from the heart, contain the highest and most effective wishes one can give to the believers.

When the Priest wishes the gathering before the starting of the Holy Mass, his 'greetings' should come from his body, mind and soul with proper 'spiritual body language' and those who receive them also should reciprocate suitably by replying, 'And Be With your spirit' (earlier 'And Also With you')....!

It is very important to make every word that the mouth utters, come from our self ie our heart and soul.

Followed by the Canonization of Blessed Sister Alphonsa as the first woman saint and the second person to become a saint from India after  Mumbai based St Gonsalo Garcia [who was born in 1556,desired to become a Catholic Priest, engaged in missionary work in Japan before being martyred in 1597 and was declared a saint by the Catholic Church in 1862], Now the Indian Church in particular and the whole country in general especially the state of Kerala are in jubilation on the declaration of two of its prestigious children loved by most of the backward caste people without any religious discrimination, to be elevated as Saints....!

The announcement of Blessed Father Chavara Kuriakose Elias, popularly called as Chavara Achchan and his disciple and nun Blessed Sister Euphrasia called as 'Evuprasamma' is a twin delight for the 2000 year-old Indian Church establkished by Apostle St. Thomas and the Society founded by Chavara Kuriakose Father, the CMI....!

Father Kuriakose Elias was not only a Spiritual and Religious leader of his time, but also played a significant role in the eradication of untouchability and many other evil practices that prevailed in the Indian society then.
