Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ: [July Month Devotion] The Divine Price of Our Salvation

The Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ: The Infinite Price Paid for Our Salvation

"You were ransomed... not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious Blood of Christ."
1 Peter 1:18–19

The Month of July: A Sacred Invitation

Every year, the Catholic Church dedicates the month of July to the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. This beautiful devotion calls every believer to meditate upon the immeasurable love of God, revealed most perfectly in the Blood that His Only Begotten Son willingly shed for the salvation of the world.

In an age when many have forgotten the reality of sin, the necessity of repentance, and the hope of eternal life, devotion to the Precious Blood reminds us of an eternal truth:

'Every soul is very precious to God.'

No human language can adequately express the value of the Divine Blood that flowed from the Sacred Humanity of Jesus Christ. Every drop was offered out of infinite love to redeem fallen humanity from the slavery of sin and to open once again the gates of Heaven.

The Blood of God: The Infinite Price of Our Redemption

The Blood shed on Calvary was not merely the blood of a holy man or a great prophet. It was the Blood of the Eternal Son of God made man.

Because Jesus Christ is truly God and truly Man, His sacrifice possesses infinite value. What humanity lost through the disobedience of Adam has been restored through the perfect obedience of Christ.

From His Circumcision to His Agony in Gethsemane...

From His Scourging at the Pillar to the Crowning with Thorns...

From every painful step carrying the Cross to His final breath upon Calvary...

Every wound proclaimed God's unfathomable love for mankind.

Finally, when the soldier pierced His Sacred Heart, Blood and Water flowed forth—a fountain of Divine Mercy that continues to nourish the Church until the end of time.

The Precious Blood Breaks Every Chain

Humanity today suffers under countless forms of satanic bondage.

Some are enslaved by pride.

Others by lust, greed, anger, addictions, despair, hatred, unforgiveness, or unbelief.

Many people secretly carry guilt that no earthly comfort can remove.

Yet there is no chain so strong that the Precious Blood of Lord Jesus cannot break it.

The Blood of Christ cleanses the sinner.

It restores hope.

It defeats the kingdom of darkness.

It reconciles the soul with God.

It strengthens the weak.

It sanctifies the faithful.

Most importantly, it opens the path to eternal life for every person who turns to Christ with sincere repentance and living faith.

No sinner is beyond redemption while life remains.

The Holy Mass: Where Heaven Touches Earth

One of the greatest tragedies of our time is that countless Catholics fail to recognize the immeasurable treasure offered in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

The Holy Mass is not merely a Prayer meeting, a memorial service, or a symbolic remembrance.

It is the sacramental making-present of the one eternal Sacrifice of Calvary. Christ does not die again. Rather, His one perfect sacrifice is made present to us through the ministry of the Church, allowing every generation to share in the fruits of His redeeming Passion.

Every Holy Mass places before us the infinite merits of the Holy and Precious Blood.

Every Holy Communion, when received worthily in the state of grace, unites us intimately with the same Lord who shed His Blood upon the Cross.

What greater privilege could there be for a Christian?

Make Daily Holy Mass a Way of Life

Whenever circumstances permit, every Catholic should strive to participate in Daily Holy Mass.

The world offers many opportunities to gain wealth, knowledge, influence, and comfort.

But nothing compares with spending time before the Holy Altar where the Mystery of our redemption is made present.

Each Holy Mass obtains abundant Graces for ourselves, our families, the Holy Souls in Purgatory, and the whole Church.

Every Holy Mass prepares us for our own death.

Every Holy Mass strengthens us against temptation.

Every Holy Mass deepens our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Every Holy Mass is a foretaste of Heaven.

When we understand the value of the Precious Blood offered for us, attending Holy Mass becomes not an obligation but a joyful privilege.

A Testimony of Divine Mercy:

These reflections are humbly offered by one who calls himself 'slave of LORD JESUS'.

This name is not chosen to draw attention to the author but to glorify the One to Whom he belongs.

For I know that, apart from Christ, I was a sinner walking toward eternal damnation.

Had the Lord left me to myself, I would have perished and ended up in the horrible hell.

Yet He sought me before I sought Him.

By His infinite mercy, He purchased me with His Most Precious and Holy Blood.

He washed away my sins.

He renewed my heart.

He filled me with hope.

He gave me the Grace to desire Heaven more than the passing pleasures of this world.

Everything I am is a gift of the Divine Mercy.

If I one day enter the Kingdom of Heaven, it will not be because I deserved it, but because the Lamb of God redeemed me with His Precious Holy Blood.

May every breath I take proclaim this eternal truth:

I belong to Jesus Christ. I have been purchased by His Precious Blood.

Come Home Before It Is Too Late...

Dear friend,

If your soul is weary...

If hidden sins burden your heart...

If you have wandered far from God...

If you fear that your past cannot be forgiven...

Look to the Crucified Jesus Christ.

The Precious Blood that flowed from His Sacred Body still cries out for your salvation.

Come to Him in repentance.

Approach the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Receive Him worthily in the Holy Eucharist.

Pray at least one Rosary every day withhout fail.

Read the Holy Scriptures everyday.

Love the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary, who stood faithfully beneath the Cross as her Son poured out His Blood for the salvation of the world.

Above all, make the Holy Mass the center of your spiritual life.

The Lord who shed His Blood for you desires not merely to forgive you but to bring you safely into the everlasting joy of Heaven.

Prayer to the Most Precious Blood

Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, Infinite Price of our Redemption, we adore You.

Wash us from every sin.

Break every chain that keeps us away from God.

Protect our families from the powers of darkness.

Strengthen us in every trial.

Grant us sincere repentance, unwavering faith, and persevering love.

Help us never to neglect the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, where Your saving sacrifice is made present for our salvation.

May we receive You worthily in the Holy Eucharist and remain faithful until our final breath.

Lead us at last into the eternal Kingdom, where we shall adore You forever with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

"To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His Blood... to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." (Revelation 1:5–6)

Easter 2012 is on April 8th. Easter Message and Wishes to one and all...!

As every one knows, the Greatest, Holiest and Most Glorious Solemn Feast for the Christian Community on the planet is the Easter. This year's Easter 2012 falls on the eighth of April, 2012.

Many people, mostly the non-Christians think that the Christmas is the most important Christian Festival in the world. But in fact, Christmas, the holy Birth Day of the Savior of the world, the Son of God is only next to the Feast of HIS Resurrection - The Easter.

Birth Days are celebrated by almost all people of the world. They include presidents, leaders, scientists, social reformers, freedom fighters and even the common people. Birth days of many religious and spiritual leaders are also observed by the followers of those religions.

But the Resurrection ( the day of rising again from death ) of Only One Person is celebrated in the entire world and it the Lord Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of the Humanity.

Why is Easter the Greatest and most important Feast Day for the Christians?

Many great people were born and lived in this beautiful planet earth for some time and passed away. There are many who fought for the worldly liberation of the suppressed, oppressed and the neglected. There are many great emperors and kings who ruled their subjects fairly with love. There are many social reformers. They all died at a point of time and got removed from the living. The world fondly remembers many of them. But none of them rose again after their death. Only the incarnated God, Jesus Christ rose again on the third day of His greatest Passion and death. Because only HE had authority on the death. Only He conquered the death and its stings for our sake. Hence the Easter is the most important of all the Celebrations of the whole of the world.

The Tomb of the Lord Jesus is the only tomb open and empty of all the graves in the history of the whole world.

Praise be to the Lord Almighty. Glory Be to the Lord who defeated satan and death for HIS chosen ones. Amen... Amen....!

Happy Easter Wishes and Hearty Greetings to one and all....!

SPIRITUAL POSTURES / POSITIONS / GESTURES DURING CATHOLIC CHRISTIAN WORSHIP

Postures (Bodily & Physical Positions/gestures) play an important role anywhere and everywhere. Postures, known as 'Body Languages' are taught along with almost every academical studies/courses. A person without a pleasing BODY, MIND, POSTURE, and GESTURE is not entertained heartily by any one usually.

For example, a person who has taken the precious appointment of a world leader {very important person (VIP) - in the world's outlook}, prepares himself/herself in advance, to take better advantage of the limited - hard gained - time of the VIP.

He/she shows full Respect to the VIP with 'body and mind' to attract the VIP's appreciation. If this is the case with regard to the the 'now seen; then never seen' MORTALS..., How much care and preparedness any one who is planning to MEET the LORD ALMIGHTY {The Eternal JUDGE} should take...???

It is Better to know and observe some 'GOOD BODY LANGUAGE HABITS' in places of worship like Churches.

In most of the Catholic, Jacobite, Orthodox, Kananaya and Anglican Churches, the BODY of JESUS CHRIST in the form of EUCHARIST is venerated in a Tabernacle near to the Alter. So when a Devotee enters a Church, he/she must observe utmost devotion, discipline and reverence.

Certain Tips are supplied in this blog to help a Pious Christian to perform in a fitting manner in the Churches during the Eucharistic Adoration and Holy Mass.

PLEASE TRY TO FOLLOW THESE, IF YOU LIKE THEM and GET ABUNDANT BLESSINGS of the LORD. When You Follow these, You become able to WORSHIP in a more effective way and also become a source of inspiration to other devotees. Please remember to educate the Young Church too (Your Children and Students) , that they may grow as Devotional and Spiritual Christians worthy of their God Gifted Faith...!

PARTICIPATING IN THE HOLY MASS:
  • The Holy Mass is the most sacred act of worship a person can participate in, upon earth. At the Last Supper, the Lord JESUS does something new, something never done before, and yet something which continues until the end of age. The Holy mass is performed throughout the world to fulfill HIS last commandment before HIS death."DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME". Any one participating in the Holy Mass is 'invited' by the Divine father. It is not because of our merits; but of HIS Mercy. Holy Mass is not to be seen, viewed or watched but offered and participated along with the priest (who is in the place of Lord Jesus)
  • The Holy mass is divided into different stages like (a) Penitential Rite (Repentance of one's sins) (b) Celebration of the 'Word of God' (c) Offering of own self and other things to the Lord (d) The Holy Communion (e) Thanks Giving and Blessings by the Priest.
  • When the Priest starts the Holy mass, the devotee must be able to see the Lord Jesus in him. Even though he is a normal human being like any one of us, when he is celebrating the Holy mass it must be believed that he transforms in to Jesus during the Mass.
  • Whenever the 'sign of the Cross' is performed, (In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit) the devote must make a sign of the Cross on his own body with his right hand ie. on the fore-head, upper stomach and on the left and right shoulder respectively.
PENITENTIAL RITES (REPENTANCE OF OWN SINS):
  • We are all sinners and thus are unfit to be invited for the Heaven's Feast. But we can 'repent for our trespasses honestly, and purify ourselves' with HIS Mercy, Trusting fully in HIS Grace & Compassion. Then for seeking reconciliation with GOD and with one another, we pray together, "I confess to Almighty God, and to you my brothers and sisters...." Then we pray together, "Lord have Mercy, Christ have Mercy, Lord have Mercy." When we beg the Lord for HIS Mercy, we can keep our hands open and away from the body palms open and uplifted, as a beggar pleads to as for a coin ...!
CELEBRATION OF THE WORD OF GOD (BIBLE READINGS):
  • When we have washed our trespasses and sin in the Mercy of the Lord, We are served with the DIVINE WORDS which is a very delicious food for the Soul and which is served only to the 'chosen' ones (the specially invited guests by the FATHER in HEAVEN). The Word of God is generally selected as the first and the next ones from the old testament or form the New Testament (other than the Gospel) and one from the Psalms. During these two/three Readings, All the congregation sit with keen attention (considering that God is speaking to us). And before the Gospel Acclamation, all stand in respect to listen to the WORDS Spoken by the Lord Himself, 2000 years ago. Then the Priest reads out the Gospel.
