The controversial Amazon synod which concluded in October 2019 has  aggravated further the fury of the traditionalist section of Cardinals, Bishops, Priests and laity in the Holy Catholic Church who have been keeping it concealed for some years. It is the pachamama idol worship in the garden outside St Peter's Basilica and the installation of the naked idol in St Mary's Church in Rome that triggered the amount of intolerance of the conservative section of all including the Religious and faithful world-wide.

These incidents have caused great concern among the Catholic Christians who are bothered about the eternal life. While all who read the Holy Bible know that worshipping an idol is the most detestable sin before God, some others are found trying to justify these acts as if to extend their support to the stronger and powerful side. As the pagan worship occurred in the presence of the Pontiff, an average Christian is totally confused what to do and whom to ask about it.

The waves of these happenings are seen in Kerala too. While most priests are keeping mum on these developments, some Charismatic Preachers like Rev Fr Xavier Khan Vattayil and some others, who are greatly concerned about the souls have been requesting the devotees to fast and pray for the Church and the Pope. Some ardent Catholic groups, through online social media channels are reminding the people that these are the fulfilment of the prophecies the Holy Mother has been giving through many chosen people about the signs that point toward the inevitable 'end of the ages'..!

It is right time to watch again and again the video in which noted Charismatic preacher Rev Fr Daniel Poovannathil strongly and fearlessly stresses the gravity of the 'violation of the 1st Commandment' (ഒന്നാം പ്രമാണ ലംഖനം )..! Please watch how the devil slowly makes even the priests and nuns to worship other gods in the name of religious harmony and for the favour of others..!



Many average believers who have been listening regularly to the speeches of the above mentioned Rev Fr Daniel Poovannathil with keen interest are pained by some of the recent speeches by Daniel Achhan denouncing his own earlier stands about the 'signs of the ages' and some other topics. They are confused whether his earlier or present stand and views are inspired by the Holy Spirit!

So, as a devout and responsible Catholic it is our duty to pray for the Catholic Church and all its Priests, nuns and the hierarchy. Never believe or become victims of persons or groups who involve in anti-Catholic activities or preaching. They are agents of the devil, who have been making vain attempts to destroy the Church which is the mystical Body of Lord Jesus Christ since Its formation. They are wolfs in lamb's mask. Their only aim is to fish in the muddy water and deceive as many souls as possible and gain them for their master of the dark world.

As a true Christian it is our duty to be very alert and vigilant and get informed about the ages by reading the Holy Bible to save our souls which are more valuable than the whole world..! 

We also have a responsibility to show the light to those who are still in the darkness.

We must always remember that our Lord Jesus Christ, His Holy Words and His Catholic Church should be our first priority always.


To receive prudence and the discernment of the Holy Spirit and make  your precious soul secured, please do these 3 simple things without fail:

1.  Pray at least 1 Rosary Prayer everyday without fail. Make a loving covenant with the Holy Mother that you will do it (till your end). [It requires only 15-20 minutes. You can do it anywhere anytime]. If you start it from today, without any extra effort, yo will get abundant Blessings and 'Graces' of the Blessed Mother for getting rid of all sins and growing in essential Sacraments... like

2.  Participating in the Holy Mass / Eucharistic Adoration / Confession whenever (as regularly as) possible...

3. Read the Holy Bible Every Day... preferably in the morning itself (before reading news papers/books or switching own you mobile phone.

Note: Many Great Saints have affirmed and attested that whoever offers his heart to the Sacred Heart of Lord Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Holy Mother Mary will be safe...safe...safe...ever...! If you have not yet offered (yours or you dear ones'), do it immediately, please......! Whatever happens around you, will not affect you... your soul will be very safe!

The recent news and videos of some Catholic hierarchy and faithful joining the shaman who worshipped the pachamama statue by prostrating and worshipping before it and offering sacrifices during a puja ceremony held at a garden beside the St Peters Basilica in Vatican, in connection with the Amazon Synod has become a cause of great concern to the average faithful world-wide who are striving to follow the Holy Word of their Lord scrupulously and awaiting His second coming. They are gripped with fear and asking themselves, whether these are the end time signs foretold in the Holy Bible, by none other than the Lord Jesus Himself?

[pachamama is a wooden statue of a naked pregnant woman. it is worshipped as a goddess by the indigenous tribes living in the Andes mountain ranges of South America. she is also known as the mother earth and goddess of fertility.]

After the ceremony the idols were kept at the alter of the Santa Maria Church in Traspontina in Rome for public view. Unable to tolerate the 'desolating sacrilege' at this Holy place, two courageous people stole the pagan statues and hurled them into the Tiber river. However according to sources, the Italian police have traced them. 

Many Top ranking Cardinals, Bishops and zealous Priests have strongly condemned the incident of installing the pagan idols in St Mary's Church and termed it as an act to appease the devil. Ironically this drama happened on the 7th of October 2019, which is the Solemnity of our Divine Mother, the Queen of the Holy Rosary!

Many traditionalist Cardinals of highest ranks and Bishops have highly praised the act of the two men as courageous and compared them to the Maccabees. They have also severely condemned the pagan worship in the Holy place. Many devoted Catholics around the world also are sharing their deep concern on these developments.

Note: This article is not intended to judge or criticise anyone including the head of the Catholic Church or to create panic among the people. But it is meant to warn the faithful who are keenly awaiting for the fulfilment of the prophecies to be alert and vigilant, like the 'wise virgins' mentioned by our Lord in St Matthew's Gospel chapter 25.

Why do Catholics venerate Mother Mary and Pray to Her?

Why do the Catholics venerate the Blessed Virgin Mary and Pray to Her? Is it not idol worship? Why to honor Mary and Saints? Why so much importance is given to the devotion of Mother Mary in Catholic Church? 

These are questions frequently asked by most Christians belonging to Protestant / Pentecostal denominations. Sometimes this question arises in the minds of even Catholics who are active in Charismatic Prayer movements. When Lord Jesus is our intercessor, why do we need the aid of other mediators? Answers to these questions are given by many anointed persons who have received numerous blessing through the intervention of Blessed Mother Mary. As I am also one of the billions of devotees who continue to receive innumerable blessing of the Lord through Mother Mary (even though I too had been nurturing the above mentioned doubts for a long time in life), I proudly and gladly wish to share the Divine Promptings by the Holy Spirit of God about Mother Mary.

I don't intend to explain in this post who Mother Mary is to those people who do not know who Lord Jesus Christ is. I am very sure that whoever truly Believes in the Saviour of the humanity Jesus Christ and the Holy Word of God will easily become ardent devotees of the Blessed Mother of God, if they meditate (with openness) certain events / versus in the Holy Bible.

Though there are many incidents and circumstances in the Holy Bible that command and warrant special devotion and veneration to the Blessed Mother Mary, in my opinion the wedding event at Cana is more than enough to understand the preeminence of the 'humble woman' chosen by the Almighty God, before the ages to be HIS Mother when HE is to take incarnation as a man to redeem the mankind in the fullness of time. 

As I stated above, if you have an open heart to know the Holy Will of God about respecting HIS Mother, please read the below narrated Biblical Passage (John 2:1-11) several times meditatively. Remember, if you already have your own presupposition (fed by some persons) in this matter, you will never get to know God's Wish.

On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there; and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. When the wine ran out at the wedding, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” Now there were six stone water pots set there for the Jewish custom of purification, containing twenty or thirty gallons each. Jesus said to them, “Fill the water-pots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter.” So they took it to him. When the headwaiter tasted the water which had become wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom, and said to him, “Every man serves the good wine first, and when the people have drunk freely, then he serves the poorer quality wine;but you have kept the good wine until now.” This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him. 

In the above passage in the 'Word of God' we see the Lord saying that His hour had not yet come. Yes, the Lord can never and will never commit an err. Even though His time had not yet come for His self-manifestation and to perform the first miracle, At the request of His Mother, He makes the marriage venue at Cana for His Manifestation and acts immediately! In other words, if I say Mother Mary also played a significant role in planning and executing the redemption mission of Lord Jesus, can you refute it?

We see in the 10 commandments given by God, after the first 3 pertaining to God, the fourth one is to honour one's parents (father and mother). When God wants the people to give utmost respect to their father and mother, how can we expect God to not respect His own Father and Mother? In other words, when God who is pleased when you and me respect our worldly parents (who are sinners), how much more will He not be delighted when we venerate His dear and most Blessed Mother who is 'Full of Grace' and capable of filling others with Holy Spirit with her mere presence and by just making a verbal greeting?

In the Holy Gospel of Luke Chapter 1 verse 43 we see St Elizabeth (the mother of John the Baptist-who got special privilege to prepare the way for the Lord and to baptize Him-) filled with the Holy Spirit of God asks Mother Mary, 'And why is this granted to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me?' (Lk 1:43)

After meditating and reading the above passage and after seeing an elderly and saintly person filled with the Holy Spirit venerating and proclaiming and declaring a universal Truth that the humble and Holy woman who carried the Son of God in her womb, is the Mother of her Lord (God), all people under the sun who believe in the God of Baptist John, Zachariah and Elizabeth and who believe in the Most Holy Spirit of God, will surely believe that Blessed Virgin Mary is the Mother of their Lord Jesus (true God incarnated and assumed human form) and deserves very high veneration and honor. Still if anyone has difficulty in accepting her as the Mother of God, I feel pity for that person and am afraid that he/she is possessed by some evil spirits that hate and oppose Blessed Virgin Mother's special authority granted by the Most High God to crush the head of satan! May the Mother of God pray for that person to gain vision..!
