Syro-Malabar Church Synod 2020 January 10-15: Circular, video/audio

The Syro Malabar Catholic Church's Bishop's Synod was held from 2020 January 10-15 at Mount St Thomas at Kakkanad, Kochi. The six day conference was guided by the Holy Spirit. Several contemporary issues relating to the Church, Liturgy, Society etc were discussed and decisions were taken unanimously in the light of God's Grace. 

Below are the seven topics about the Cardinal mentioned in his Circular.

1. Agricultural field and the farmers' crisis

2. Citizenship amendment bill

3. Discrimination in the implementation of minority welfare schemes

4. Reservation among EWS in the forward communities

5. Atrocities and crimes against the Christians- including 'love jihad' 

6. Modification of the Liturgy in Holy Eucharistic Mass (Kurbana kramam).

Bro Sajith Joseph Healing Ministry address and Phone Number

Brother Sajith Joseph was born to Catholic parents. But during his childhood, his parents were beguiled by some protestant pastors to leave the Catholic Church and to join the Pentecostalism. And when they yielded to their false teachings and switched their faith, obviously he also became a Pentecost as he was too young to think independently. Later he studied Theology in Protestant Seminaries and became a prominent Pastor belonging to the 'Assemblies of God' denomination.  He is the founder of a Pentecostal Church by name 'Grace Community Global'. As he is an anointed evangelist and powerful speaker, he has thousands of followers and his Church has branches in all five continents.

Bro Sajith Joseph was different from the other protestant pastors and believers who are generally blind. Unlike other pastors, God's grace in him opened his mind and gave him a quest to search and find the one and only true Church which is the Body of Christ. His search and research lead him back to the Holy Catholic Church which alone has the Apostolic traditions!

Before 2019 Christmas Bro Sajith Joseph and many members of his group officially joined the Catholic Church in the presence of the Bishop of Punalur and other Priests. Though his move is considered as a bold and courageous one, it has naturally created many blind and stubborn protestants as his enemies. His move is highly welcomed by the spiritual world as there is apparently nothing worldly he may gain through becoming a Catholic except the eternal rewards! [I saw some people criticising him saying he has joined the Catholic Church for worldly benefits! In my opinion as an independent pastor and owner of a well grown organization, there is nothing he may need more as he is some what settled already (worldly speaking!)]

There may be some differences in the perceptions and teachings of individual preachers. If any existing ardent Catholics have any doubts in the homecoming and performance of this chosen 'tool' of God, please ponder over the Words of our Lord Jesus in Mark 9:40 "Whoever is not against us is for us"! Do not doubt him because he is chosen by the Lord God! (Acts 9: 11-15). 

It is not anyone's duty to judge others. As some people strongly allege and criticize, if he has any other ulterior motives behind his professing the Catholic Faith and declaring allegiance to the Universal Church's teachings, there is The WORD that the Lord spoke that will judge him (Jn. 12:48). But be informed that brother Sajith Joseph who has been serving and testifying the Living Word of God, is not a fool to be deprived of the eternal rewards kept ready for momentary worldly gains!

"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work..."(1 Corinthians 3:11-13)


Likewise a person who believes in protestant ideology may find it difficult to digest immediately the fact that Brother Sajith Joseph has left the Protestantism and joined the Catholic Church. Such people are requested to listen calmly to the reasons being shared by him. He received Divine 'Grace' to discern clearly as he was true to his calling even when he was in the pentecostalism. There are some rigid pentacosts who scorn him through social media platforms. They should understand that there were many Jewish people and leaders who persecuted the early Christians, but only Saul was called and converted by the Lord as he was loyal in HIS eyes!

Immediately after joining in the 'Communion of Saints' and seeking the intercession of Holy Mother of God Jesus who is 'Full of God's Grace', the amount of grace and anointment grew in him and he has been performing  wondrous miracles in the Mighty and Holy Name of Lord JESUS Christ who is ever present as the 'Divine Mercy' in the Holy Eucharistic Sacrament.

The Lord is exalting Sajith brother for showing obedience to the Voice of the Holy Spirit in him and confessing and declaring his faith and fidelity in HIS Holy Catholic Church!

Catholic Church Grants Plenary Indulgence Kerala 2020 (പൂർണ ദണ്ഡവിമോചനം)

The dawn of the New Year 2020 arrived in India with an extraordinary gift from Heaven for the Catholic Christians, through Its official representative on earth - the Pope. One can avail absolute indulgence by personally visiting the pilgrim centre at Mannanam near Kottayam in Kerala where the tomb of Saint Chavara Kuriakose Eliyas is situated. 

Period of time (dates and days) to avail 'plenary indulgence' in Kerala:

The Pope has granted plenary indulgence to each and everyone who visits the tomb of the Saint at Mannanam and fulfil the minimum requirements any day during a period one full year (2020). The door of Grace granting plenary indulgence opened on 3rd January 2020 and will be available until 3rd January 2021.

How to avail plenary Indulgence? What are the requirements?

Taking advantage of plenary Indulgence is very simple. [If one knows the actual value of an indulgence, he/she will take any amount of trouble to own it. As mentioned above it is priceless]. There are no physical or financial requirements. 

The only requisite to attain indulgence is to have a desire to be holy and in the Love of the ever loving Divine Father and Redeemer Jesus Christ.

Then observing these simple things will get you complete indulgence.

1. Make a thorough self examination and detect all sins and Detest them with a contrite heart.

2. Make a true 'confession' with a heavy penitent and wailing heart.

3. Participate in the Holy Mass very devoutly and Receive the Holy Communion.

4. Visit the above mentioned pilgrim center and Pray one Our Father ... one Hail Mary ... one Holy be ... for the Pope's intention.

Whoever has done these simple spiritual acts have expiated for their sins (will not undergo temporal punishments) and are now in a holy state and are eligible to go to heaven (in the fortunate event of his/her death) directly without any purification process in the purgatory.

Please rush and grab it as early as possible when you are still alive now!
