The universal Catholic Church throughout the world has been commemorating 'Global Rosary Prayer relay' particularly for all the Priests since 2010 on the Feast Day of the Most Sacred Heart of Lord Jesus Christ every year, and this year the 11th edition of this world event is being held on 19th June, 2020. This noble initiative is being organized and coordinated by a not-for-profit organization by name WorldPriest founded by a group of lay people exclusively for performing similar 'Spiritual activities' for the sake of Catholic Priests serving the Lord Jesus Christ throughout the world.
Every year the number of Catholic Churches and Institutions participating in the Global Rosary Prayer Relay is increasing considerably and this year participating Churches from more than 85 countries have already registered and are ready to Pray for the sanctification all the Catholic Priests that they may grow in holiness and serve the Lord worthily.
Each of the participating prayer locations in 85+ countries prays a particular mystery of the Rosary at a particular half an hour time, on the Solemnity Day of the Most Sacred Heart of Lord Jesus in thanksgiving for all our priests and to implore the special protection and loving care of the Holy Mother Mary Who is the Mother of all priests, so that She will help Her priestly sons to grow in holiness in these difficult time and to become Saints. By the midnight on the 19 June 2020, the entire world, by then, would have been encircled in prayer for all our beloved priests who number above 450,000 on this 11th Annual Rosary Relay Day.
In India too, many Churches have already enrolled for this Great event. Here is the List of some of the Churches and Institutions enlisted from India for the Annual Global Rosary Relay Day and the Prayer time schedule in IST and the Rosary Mystery they are supposed to Pray.
1. Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health, Vailankanni.
Prayer Time: 10.30 AM
2. Gunadala Matha Shrine, Eluru Rd, Vijayavada, Andhra Pradesh.
Prayer Time: 06.00 PM
3. Father Peyton Centre, Holy Cross Family Ministries, Bangalore, India.
Prayer Time: 05.45 PM
4. Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Prayer Time: 06.00 PM
So far only these Churches are shown on the official website of WorldPriest. Registration from states like Kerala is yet to e made. It will be updated.
