Rajavoor is a Catholic village in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu (in the Kottar Catholic Diocese) in South India. Rajavoor was called Vanchimarthadanalloor during the erstwhile rule of the Travancore Maharajahs in Kerala. Rajavoor is famous for the 'St Michale's Shrine' which is located at the center of the village and the 'Kanikkai Matha' (Our Lady of Presentation) Church.
Rajavoor is a famous pilgrim center. The Church dedicated to the Arch-Angel St Michael here is a famous exorcism centre and many people come to this Holy shrine with their near and dear ones who are possessed by unclean spirits for their expulsion.
Through the powerful intercession of St Michael the head of the Heavenly armies, all types of ghosts, evil spirits, devils, and satanic influences flee from the human beings whom they had kept as slaves.
