October, the month of Holy Rosary: പരിശുദ്ധ ജപമാല മാസം ഒക്‌ടോബർ

For the devotees of the Holy Mother of LORD JESUS CHRIST, the month of October each year is a period of abundant Grace, as the month of October is dedicated to the Most Holy Virgin Mother Who is the Queen of Holy Rosary. It is on October 7th every year the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary is celebrated by the Universal Catholic Church.

The Feast of the Queen of Holy Rosary was instituted by the Catholic Church to honor the Blessed Virgin Mother for Her miraculous assistance in securing a decisive victory for the Holy League countries over the powerful ottoman (turkish) islamic empire's navy in the historic battle of Lepanto. October 7th marks the anniversary of this significant war.

Every year in the month of October, the children of the Holy Virgin Mother recite more number of Rosary Prayers. As we have been seeing these days, the enemy of the Church joining the forces of the devil and trying to attack the Church. Famous Christian Church Hagia Sophia in turkey was converted into a mosque by erdogan, the president of turkey who claims lineage to the erstwhile wicked and cruel ottoman empire. 

Sadly we see in most countries, the agents of the devil with malevolent intentions are ascending to positions of power. What is considered 'Right' is being eroded, and 'wrong' is being legalized! Truth, Peace and Justice are seemingly fading away while corruption, hatred and sins are being legitimized. Therefore, it is imperative that we devote ourselves to reciting and offering as many Rosary prayers as possible during this month, especially for all Christians who are facing mistreatment and persecution throughout the world including India!  

Before Praying the Holy Rosary Prayer, a faithful must be aware of the 15 great promises our Holy Mother has given to us through St Dominic.

1. Whoever shall faithfully serve Me by the pious recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces. 

2. I promise my special protection and the greatest Graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary. 

3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, It will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies. 

4. The Rosary will cause virtue and good works to flourish; It will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire for eternal things. Oh, those souls would sanctify themselves by this means. 

5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish. 

6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of Its Sacred Mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he/she shall not perish by an unprovided (unprepared) death; the sinner will be converted. The just shall remain in the Grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life. 

7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without receiving the Holy Sacraments of the Church. 

8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the Saints in paradise. 

9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary. 

10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven. 

11. You shall obtain all you ask of Me by the recitation of the Rosary. 

12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities. 

13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death. 

14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters of my only Son Jesus Christ. 

15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

So, please remember: whenever we recite a Rosary Prayer for the intentions of our family, or for the Pope or the Church, or for a sinner or for the suffering souls in the purgatory, or for those unknown brethren who are persecuted, we are obtaining all the above 'unfailing' promises of the Holy Queen of Heaven!

The Devotion and Power of the Holy Rosary:

St. Louis de Montfort, a profound devotee of the Blessed Virgin Mother and a fervent ambassador of the Holy Rosary, expressed with utmost conviction: "I shall affirm, even with my own blood, that whoever, or whatever family, devoutly prays the Rosary every day will never perish."

The devotion to the Holy Rosary was emphasized by the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary herself during Her apparition at Fatima to the three children. Throughout history, Rosary prayers have served as a potent remedy for even the most dreaded diseases, a formidable defense against satanic influences, a guaranteed formula for fostering unity and integrity within families, and a proven means for obtaining favors from God Almighty. The Universal Catholic Church dedicates the month of October to the prayer of the Holy Rosary, with the Feast of the Holy Rosary celebrated worldwide on the 7th of October each year.

St. Don Bosco earnestly implored parents, emphasizing the significance of the Family Rosary as the loving link that binds children to their parents. He encouraged parents to love their children, correct their mistakes, forgive them, and daily offer Rosary prayers together, believing that such practices would fortify families and bring forth peace and joy. He admonished devotees never to overlook the daily recitation of the Rosary, reminding them of the boundless love and blessings bestowed upon them by their Holy Mother.

The Blessed Mother made a promise to St. Dominic, assuring him, "Whatever you ask through the Rosary will be granted."

Countless remarkable incidents and miracles, both past and present, are attributed to the meditation and recitation of the Rosary. One recent account, as reported in a printed media source, appears almost miraculous: Despite the detonation of atomic bombs in Japan, a Jesuit Monastery housing eight monks, located just one kilometer away from the explosion, was miraculously spared. It is believed that their fervent prayers and devotion to the Holy Rosary, along with their earnest plea for protection to the Holy Mother, played a pivotal role in their miraculous survival.
