The most powerful Prayer the devil can't touch

THE PRAYER THE DEVIL CAN’T TOUCH

Many people often ask:

“Why do temptations continue in spite of my prayers?”
“Why are some prayers powerful, while others seem blocked?”
“Is there any prayer that the devil truly fears?”

The answer to these questions is a clear Yes.
And it may surprise us.

It is neither a long prayer.
Nor is it a secret prayer.
It is not a complicated prayer either.

It is the prayer that Lord Jesus Christ Himself taught us.

It is the Lord’s Prayer — the 'Our Father'.

Let us unfold the Greatest Prayer ever slowly, simply, and sincerely.

1. THE DEVIL CAN QUOTE SCRIPTURE, BUT HE CANNOT PRAY THIS PRAYER

In the wilderness, satan quoted Scripture to Our Lord Jesus (Matthew 4).
This shows that the devil can quote Scripture, and he is not afraid of it.

But the important fact is this:

The devil never prays. He can never call God “Father.”

Why?

Because the 'Our Father' Prayer begins with a unique and intimate relationship, not a request.

“Our Father” means:
Trust, love, sonship, obedience, and dependence.

Satan lost these forever.
He is not a son. He cannot love. He is not obedient. He is not humble.

So when a Christian sincerely calls God “Our Father” with faith,
the devil is already defeated at the very first word.

2. THIS PRAYER DESTROYS PRIDE, THE DEVIL’S CORE SIN

The archangel became the devil and fell because of his pride:
“I will not serve.”

But when a believer prays the Our Father, he proclaims:

God’s name be hallowed,
God’s kingdom come,
God’s will be done.

This prayer destroys pride, arrogance and self-will.

The devil cannot touch a soul that truly surrenders and says:
“Not my will, Father, but Yours.”

Because humility and surrender are unbearable poison to demons.

3. “GIVE US THIS DAY” — WHY THE DEVIL HATES DAILY TRUST

The devil wants every child of God to be anxious and distressed about the future.

But Lord Jesus teaches us to trust God for today:

“Give us this day our daily bread.”

This reminds us of the manna given to the Israelites in the Old Testament:

No anxiety
No storing
No control
Total dependence on God

As demons feed on fear and worry. This prayer starves them.

4. “FORGIVE US… AS WE FORGIVE” — WHERE DEMONS LOSE ACCESS

Hatred and unforgiveness give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:26–27).

This prayer closes that door.

When we pray:
“Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us,”
we ask God to:

Heal our wounds
Break spiritual chains and bondages
Remove the enemy’s access

The devil cannot remain where love and mercy is chosen.

5. “DELIVER US FROM EVIL” — A DIRECT SPIRITUAL BATTLE

This is not poetic language.

In its deeper meaning, it is a plea:
“Protect us from the evil one.”

Every time we pray the Our Father with faith and sincerity, we ask God to intervene.

And God always answers unfailingly.

6. WHY MANY PEOPLE DO NOT EXPERIENCE ITS POWER

Here is the hard truth:

We rush it.
We recite it mechanically.
We do not enter into it.

But when the Our Father is prayed slowly, consciously, and with faith and love, this simple prayer becomes:

A shield
A double-edged sword
A powerful weapon
A declaration of our true identity

It reminds heaven, hell, and the world who we are and to whom we belong.

SO, LET US REMEMBER THIS

The devil fears:

Humble obedience
Trust in the Father
Forgiveness toward others
Daily dependence on God

All of these are contained in one simple prayer.

That is why our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gave it to us.
That is why the Church prays it at every Holy Mass.
That is why the enemy cannot stand it.

So the next time you pray the Our Father, do not rush.

Stand.
Breathe.
Say every word from your heart.

Because when you say, “Our Father,”
hell knows —
you are no longer alone... and it serves as a powerful deliverance prayer too!
