What to do to avail Portiuncula Plenary Indulgence? How can a grave sinner gain Portiuncula Indulgence now?
Any grave sinner can get forgiveness of all sins through repentance and confession. But even then he/she needs to suffer and be purified for all his deeds either in this world or in the purgatory. Through indulgence we get impunity without any temporal punishments for our sins.
Gaining Porziuncula Indulgence is very simple and easy. One can get this indulgence by observing 4 steps.
Please Note that, indulgence can be availed for one's own self and/or for the sake of the departed souls from one's family!
1. Detest and repent for all sins honestly.
2. Make a sincere confession on the 1st or 2nd of August or before or after 8 days of this date.
(From 25th July to 10th August)
3. Participate in a Holy Mass (online if not possible)
4. Visit any Catholic Church and Pray one Apostles Creed, 1 Our Father ... 1 Hail Mary ... and 1 Glory be to... for the Pope's intention.

As per the directions of the Pope, the fourth Sunday of September every year is to be commemorated as the 'World Day for Grandparents, Great Grandparents and the Elderly' starting this year 2021. The International Day for the Grandparents is observed on the occasion of the Feast Day of St Joachim and St Anna the Parents of Holy Virgin Mother Mary and the Grandparents of Lord Jesus Christ, which falls on the 25/26th of July every year.
In the present consumer era, parents and grandparents when they attain old age, are neglected by many people in the world. The sacrifices and struggles they underwent to bring up their children and grandchildren are often forgotten. That is very cruel and unjust. They deserve not only food and accommodation but also affection and respect from the children and their children.
The elderly must be loved and honored by every member of the family. The younger generation should be showed and taught by their parents how reverently and dedicatedly they should treat their parents. If any son or daughter ill-treats or mistreats his/her parents at their old age, never forget that, that person also will definitely receive the same treatment in future by their children.
Not only on this feast day the grandparents and great grandparents are to be honoured, but throughout their lives, they should be given a royal place in the families. By doing this, God also will be pleased and fill the family with lots of Grace and abundant blessings.

On the 15th of August every year, the universal Catholic Church along with many other Churches like the Eastern Orthodox Churches, Oriental Orthodox Churches, the Church of the East, the Anglo-Catholic Church and some other Churches celebrate the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Mother Mary into Heaven. August 15 is a Great Day of Divine Grace and Abundant Blessings to the children who venerate the Holy Virgin Mother and believe the fact that the Mother of Lord Jesus Christ was taken into Heaven with Her Immaculate Body.
Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Blessed Virgin Mother is a solemn spiritual act aimed to attain holiness and reach the ultimate goal 'the Heaven' with the help of the Divine Mother Who was granted to humanity by the Lord and Saviour.
This year Shalom TV is holding a special Prayer Program during the 33-days prior to the Solemnity of the Assumption starting from the 14th of July 2021.
