They are gripped with fear and asking themselves, whether these are the end time signs foretold in the Holy Bible, by none other than the Lord Jesus Himself? [pachamama is a wooden statue of a naked pregnant woman. it is worshipped as a goddess by the indigenous tribes living in the Andes mountain ranges of South America. she is also known as the mother earth and goddess of fertility.] After the ceremony the idols were kept at the alter of the Santa Maria Church in Traspontina in Rome for public view. Unable to tolerate the 'desolating sacrilege' at this Holy place, two courageous people stole the pagan statues and hurled them into the Tiber river. However according to sources, the Italian police have traced them. Many Top ranking Cardinals, Bishops and zealous Priests have strongly condemned the incident of installing the pagan idols in St Mary's Church and termed it as an act to appease the devil. Ironically this drama happened on the 7th of October 2019, which is the Solemnity of our Divine Mother, the Queen of the Holy Rosary!

With the canonisation of Saint Mariam Thresia Chiramel Mankidiyan recently on 2019 October 13th by Pope Francis, Kerala in India has gained a lot of prominence in the spiritual map of the world. With the elevation of St Mariam Thresia, the number of Saints from Indian origin has risen to 6 and the number of Saints from a small state known as Kerala alone has risen to 4! There is more amazing news for the faithful that many more Blessed souls are readily waiting to be canonised shortly! And many 'servants of God' are in the waiting to be declared as 'Blessed'! When the number of the Saints, the Blessed and the Servants of God are in the rise here in Kerala, it is a matter for great rejoicing in Heaven. At the same time it is a shocking thing for the dark world. Naturally where ever there is rise in the number of devoted and faithful persons, the kingdom of hell will be very much worried and satan will deploy more troops at that place and recruit many local agents to fight and damage the Church from within. As we are in the last hour for the fulfilment of the Biblical prophecies, we must be very vigilant and cautious. satan will go to any extend to mislead and ruin 'even the chosen'. That is why we see many faithful including priests and nuns being trapped by satan, join hands with the godless, atheists and terrorists and making vain attempts to destroy the Church of God. Though we are living in a society where the number of the atheists, criminals and satan-worshippers are in the rise, there are also numerous known and unknown servants of God who pray ceaselessly for us and the whole world. We may not be aware that there are many saintly nuns and religious fully involved only in prayers and penance in many cloister convents and monasteries in India. We are fortunate to see, hear and touch some contemporary saintly priests, religious and laity (even though not officially recognised and declared as saints by the Holy See) who lead a prayerful life of sacrifices and serve the Word of God very loyally. St Mother Teresa of Calcutta lived with us few years ago. As she led a life of Holiness fully pleasing God, she is today witnessing the Glory of God as a Saint in Heaven and making intersession for us all! The process of sanctification and the declaration of the sainthood has 4 stages in the Catholic Church. A wait period of at least 5 years is necessary to initiate the process after the death. Sometimes the entire process takes even centuries for the completion. 1. Servant of God (ദൈവ ദാസൻ): When the cause of a person who led a saintly life in this world is accepted by the 'Congregation for the causes of saints', on the recommendation of the local Bishop, he/she will be called as Servant of God. 2. Venerable (ധന്യന്‍): After the acceptance of the cause and after making due examinations, from the time when the congregation officially approves and declares that the person lived a virtuous Christian life, he/she will be addressed as Venerable. 3. Blessed (വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ട): After declaring venerable, if a remarkable miracle happens through the intercession of that person, the congregation recognises that he/she is in heaven and is declared Blessed by the Pope. This declaration is known as beatification. 4. Saint (വിശുദ്ധന്‍): After the third stage, when another exceptionable miracle occurs (and is approved by medical and theological commissions), the Pope in consultation with all the Cardinals fixes the date for the canonisation and declares a Saint. She always pleaded Lord Jesus to grant her the share of His sorrowful Passion and used to complain to the Lord when the sufferings were less. Her tomb is at Bharananganam near Pala. Saint Chavara Achchan of Mannanam near Kottayam was a social reformer also. He was a Catholic Priest and the co-founder of CMI Congregation for the Priests. He founded a Religous Congregation for the sisters (nuns) by name CMC. His tomb is at Mannanam near Kottayam. She was also a social reformer who strived hard for the welfare of the poor and the downtrodden and for the eradication of immorality, drunkenness and other evils from the families and the society. She used to experience spiritual ecstasy many times in her life. The Church where her tomb is situated is a pilgrim center that attracts large number of pilgrims and numerous miracles occur through her intercession!

The people as a whole around the world normally wake-up at dawn. After waking up they start their routine day in their own way. One must understand that even though people of a country or place have similarity in appearance there is vast difference in their outlook and beliefs depending the different religions and faiths they adhere to. For instance, in an Indian neighbourhood, one can see people belonging to different religions and practising them. There are Hindus, Christians, Muslims, Jains, Buddhists, etc. More or less they all look alike. But their way of living, ideals, attitudes, food habits, clothes, etc have big disparity. While most Christians and Muslims prefer to eat meat and fish, some Hindus and Jains do not. While a Christian strongly believes that the life on this earth is granted for only once, a Hindu thinks that after one's death, he will reincarnate as a human being or animal based on the merits of his actions. While a Christian is commanded by the Lord to love his enemy to enter the Kingdom of God, a Muslim is taught to finish his enemy off to get an entry into the heaven..! It is too difficult for us to understand the actual value of the Holy Mass when in this world. It is much, much more than our imagination. The value of one Holy Mass is greater than the whole earth! There are many devoted Catholics who take a lot of pain to participate in the daily Holy Mass without break. While participating in the Sunday Mass is an obligation, making a Holy Sacrifice (Qurbana) every day is very graceful and highly appreciable by God. Every human being who thinks he is a Christian must read at least a small portion (paragraph) from the Holy Bible every day in his life [in the morning itself]. The versus in the Holy Bible are God's Words. The Word of God is living. It is Lord Jesus Christ..! By reading the Holy Bible meditatively for some time, one can feel God speaking to him/her! A person who fails to read the Bible every day is not a Christian. Never read the newspaper nor switch on the TV or mobile phone before reading the Word of God! The next most important spiritual practice one should make daily without fail is praying the Holy Rosary prayers. There are two types of Rosary prayers. The Divine Mercy Rosary and the Blessed Virgin Mother's Rosary. Every Catholic must recite at least one each of these Rosary Prayers daily (without break). Dear friend, if you do not have the habit of doing these things, please start from today. We do not know how many more days we will get in this world to practice these spiritual things and earn for our eternity!
I have been celebrating Onam festival since childhood with much pomp and gaiety. Because that was one of the few occasions when we were served sadya (vegetarian meal with many curries and payasam)on plantain leaves. We were also given full freedom to play and make merry throughout. Even when we lived outside Kerala, every year we used to celebrate onam with due importance until recently. More than resident Keralites, I think such celebrations bring more happiness in the non-resident Keralites as it gives a reason for all the Malaylees to gather, chew the cud of their nostalgic memories and utter cheers. We were taught in our childhood that Onam is the harvest festival of the people of Kerala. We were also taught and made to believe that onam is the cultural festival celebrated by all Malayalis without any religious difference. However I could notice that it was Hindus and Christians that celebrated onam blindly. Muslims in my neighbourhood rarely celebrated it and that too in a limited manner. According to the myth that is linked with onam, Kerala was once ruled by a demon king named Mahabali who was depicted as a benevolent and just ruler. Seeing his popularity among his subjects and the prosperity of the land, the devas (gods) became jealous and complained to their head to do away with Mahabali. Then god vishnu disguised as a poor dwarf brahmin named Vamana and appeared before king mahabali and begged for land that can be measured by his foot 3 times. The king promised it immediately. Suddenly vamanan grew into a very huge size and measured the whole of sky with his one foot and the whole earth with his second foot. As there was no more space for the king to offer, obviously he bowed before vishnu and offered his head to place his third foot. Vishnu stepped on mahabali's head and pushed him down to the netherworld..! Before being pressed down in to the hell, he asked for a boon to visit his people once every year and that was granted..!
Today when I make a self analysis about the appropriateness of celebrating onam in the Christian (Bible) principles, I realize and state that it is improper for the Christians to observe onam. [If I was asked whether it is appropriate for the Christians to celebrate onam a few years ago, I would have strongly said 'yes']! There are many valid reasons in support of my declaration. If you read the Holy Bible, you will find answers whether to hold such celebrations or not. [Please read the book of Deuteronomy in the Holy Bible]. Onam is not linked with any religion or faith. As Hinduism does not prohibit any such celebrations, there is no harm for them to celebrate it. But for a Christian believing any such mythsor observing such festivals is forbidden. When Christianity believes that demons (asuras) are satanic how can we accept one from their community as a king..? Even logically, how can anyone welcome a devil if he comes from the hell to visit his dear ones every year..? It is very sad and condemnable to see some Catholic Priests connecting onam and other pagan practices in the Church and more horribly during the Holy Mass. It is nothing but what is warned by the Word God in Matt 24:15, “You will see ‘The Awful Horror’ of which the prophet Daniel spoke. It will be standing in the holy place.” (Note to the reader: understand what this means!) Some people may think and fear that if we do not join in celebrating the festivals of our Hindu neighbours, will we disrupt religious harmony? Never! Every Christian is obliged to love everyone irrespective of his race or religion as all are created by God and are His children. But we should not have any other gods other than 'Yahweh', the One and only Living God! കേരളീയരുടെ ദേശീയോത്സവം എന്ന് കൊട്ടിഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഓണം ഒരിക്കല്‍കൂടി സമാഗതമായി! ജാതിമതഭേദമന്യേ ഏവരും അതിനുള്ള തയ്യാറെടുപ്പുകൾ തുടങ്ങിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു; എന്നാല്‍ അതിന്റെ വൈരുദ്ധ്യവും, ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിക്ക് ഇതുമായുള്ള ബന്ധത്തെയും കുറിച്ച് അല്പം ഒന്ന് ചിന്തിക്കാം. ഇത് വായിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ആരും നെറ്റി ചുളിയ്ക്കണ്ട എന്നുകൂടി ഓർമ്മപ്പടുത്തുന്നു!!! ഇതിലൊക്കെ എന്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന നിസ്സംഗതയ്ക്ക് ചിലപ്പോൾ വലിയ വില കൊടുക്കേണ്ടി വരും! -
വാമനനും, മാവേലിയും!
കെട്ടുകഥകളുടെ ആകെത്തുകയായ ഹിന്ദുമതത്തിലെ അനേകം അന്ധവിശ്വാസങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ടതാണ് അവതാരകഥ! ഹൈന്ദവ സങ്കല്പമനുസരിച്ച് മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിന്; മത്സ്യത്തില്‍ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന പത്ത് അവതാരങ്ങളുണ്ട്, ഇവയില്‍ രണ്ട് അവതാരങ്ങളാണ് വാമനനും പരശുരാമനും.
മാവേലിയെ പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു ചവിട്ടിതാഴ്ത്താന്‍ അവതരിച്ചത് വാമനനാണെന്ന് ഇവര്‍ പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു, പരശുരാമന്‍ മഴുവെറിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ കേരളമുണ്ടായെന്നും പറയപ്പെടുന്നു? അവതാരക്രമത്തില്‍ വാമനനുശേഷമാണ് പരശുരാമന്‍ അവതരിച്ചതെന്നും ഹിന്ദുക്കള്‍ പറയുന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍, രസകരമായ ഒരു ചോദ്യം!
കേരളം ഭരിച്ചിരുന്ന മാവേലിയെ ചവിട്ടിത്താഴ്ത്താന്‍ ദേവലോകത്തുനിന്നു വാമനന്‍ വന്നുപോയതിനുശേഷമാണോ കേരളം നിര്‍മ്മിക്കാന്‍ പരശുരാമന്‍ മഴുമായി എത്തിയത്? എങ്കിൽ മാവേലി ഭരിച്ചത് ഏതു കേരളമായിരിക്കും?? മനുഷ്യന്‍റെ ബൗദ്ധീകനിലവാരത്തെ പരിഹസിക്കുന്ന ഇത്തരം കെട്ടുകഥകളുടെ പിറകേ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ രക്ഷകനായി സ്വീകരിച്ചവർ പോകരുതെന്ന് ആദ്യമേ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു! (1599ലെ ഉദയംപേരൂര്‍ സൂനഹദോസിലെ കനോനകളില്‍ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികള്‍ ഓണം ആഘോഷിക്കരുതെന്ന് നിഷ്ക്കർഷിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്)
മഹാബലി ഒരു അസുരനാണ്. അസുരന്‍ എന്നാല്‍ തിന്‍മയുടെ മൂര്‍ത്തി. തൃക്കാക്കരയപ്പന്‍ എന്നത് ഭാരതത്തിലെതന്നെ ഏക വിഷ്ണു സങ്കല്പമാണ്. വിഷ്ണുവിന്‍റെ വാമനാവതാരമാണ് തൃക്കാക്കരയപ്പന്‍ അഥവാ ഓണത്തപ്പന്‍! ഇതില്‍നിന്നു വ്യക്തമാകുന്ന ഒരുകാര്യം; ഓണത്തപ്പന്‍ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് മാവേലിയെയല്ല, വിഷ്ണുവിന്‍റെ അവതാരമായ വാമനനെയാണ്. അതിനാല്‍തന്നെ ഓണമെന്നത് ഹൈന്ദവരുടെമാത്രം ഒരുത്സവമാണെന്നു കൂടി മനസ്സിലാക്കാം.
മഹാബലിക്കഥയുടെ ചരിത്രം!
ക്രിസ്തുവിനു മുന്‍പ് ആറാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടില്‍ അസ്സീറിയന്‍ സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന്‍റെ തലസ്ഥാനമായിരുന്നു “അസ്സർ ബാല്‍” ഈ നഗരത്തിന്‍റെ ദേവനും
അങ്ങിനെ ബാല്‍ “അസ്സർ ബാല്‍” എന്ന് വിളിക്കപ്പെടുവാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി . (എലോം രാജാവായ Khumma-Khaldash മൂന്നാമനെ അസ്സീറിയന്‍ ചക്രവര്‍ത്തി Ashurbanipal, യുദ്ധത്തില്‍ തടവുകാരനായി പിടിച്ചതോടെ എലോം രാജ്യം ചരിത്രപരമായി തുടച്ചു നീക്കപ്പെട്ടു . എലാമുകളില്‍ ഒരു വിഭാഗം ആളുകളെ തടവുകാരായി പിടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.)
ഈ പ്രവചനം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക! ഞാൻ ഏലാമിന്റെ മേല്‍ ദിഗന്തങ്ങളില്‍നിന്നു കാറ്റുകളെ അയയ്ക്കും. അവര്‍ നാലുപാടും ചിതറും. ഏലാമില്‍നിന്ന് ഓടിപ്പോകുന്നവര്‍ അഭയം തേടാത്ത ഒരു രാജ്യവും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയില്ല. ജറമിയ 49:36. നിരന്തരമുള്ള അസ്സീറിയന്‍ ആക്രമണങ്ങളും അധിനിവേശങ്ങളും, അവിടെ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന എലാമുകളുടെ ജീവിത രീതിയെ ബാധിച്ചു. കാലക്രമേണ ഏലാമുകൾ ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് കുടിയേറിപ്പോൾ അവർ കൂടെ കൊണ്ടുപോന്ന “അസ്സർ ബാല്‍” അസുരബലി ആയി മാറി എന്നാണ് ചരിത്രകാരന്മാർ പറയുന്നത്.
മഹാബലിപുരവും ബാബേല്‍ ഗോപുരവും തമ്മിലുള്ള കഥയിലെ സാമ്യവും, അവിടുത്തെ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അസ്സീറിയന്‍ ക്ഷേത്ര സമുച്ചയങ്ങളുടെ രീതികളോടുള്ള സാമ്യവും ഇതിന് പിന്തുണ നല്കുന്നു. The Great Baal അങ്ങിനെ ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ മഹാബലി ആയി മാറി. ബാബേല്‍ ഗോപുരം നിര്‍മ്മിച്ച നിമ്രോദ് തന്നെയാണ് തന്നെത്താന്‍ ദൈവമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു പിന്നീട് ബാല്‍ ആയി മാറിയത് എന്നും ഇക്കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ഓര്‍ക്കണം . (അതായത് ബാബേല്‍ ഗോപുരം പണിതത് ബാല്‍, മഹാബലിപുരം പണിതത് ബലി ! രണ്ടും മുകളില്‍ നിന്നും തകര്‍ക്കപ്പെട്ടു ).
മഹാബലി വര്ഷം തോറും ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക്‌ വരുകയും പിന്നീട് പാതാളത്തിലേക്ക്‌ തിരികെ പോകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ ബാലും ആണ്ടോടാണ്ട് ജീവിക്കുകയും മരിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യും എന്നാണ് മെസപ്പെട്ടോമിയൻ വിശ്വാസം!(ഈ മഹാബലിപുരവും കേരളത്തിലല്ല എന്നുള്ളതാണ് കൗതുകം)
മെസപ്പെട്ടോമിയയില്‍ നിന്നും വണ്ടി കയറിയ ബാല്‍ അങ്ങനെ ഇപ്പോൾ കേരളത്തിലെ ക്രിസ്തീയ ദേവാലയങ്ങളില്‍ വരെ എത്തി നില്കുന്നു!
അവസാനം ഒരു കാര്യമേ പറയാനുള്ളൂ മത സൗഹാര്‍ദം കാണിക്കേണ്ടത് മറ്റു മതങ്ങളുടെ ആചാരങ്ങളെയും ദേവന്മാരെയും പള്ളിക്കകത്ത്‌ വിളിച്ചു കയറ്റിയിട്ടല്ല, മറിച്ച് ഇതര മതസ്ഥരെ സ്നേഹിക്കുകയും അവരെ സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതിലൂടെയാണ്. പള്ളിയില്‍ അത്തപ്പൂ ഇടീലും ഓണാഘോഷവും നടത്തിയാല്‍ അത് എങ്ങിനെ മത സൗഹാര്‍ദം ആകും?
യേശുക്രിസ്തു പറഞ്ഞ ഈ വചനം ഓർക്കുക: “ദാനിയേല്‍ പ്രവചിച്ച വിനാശത്തിന്റെ അശുദ്ധലക്ഷണം വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തു നില്‍ക്കുന്നതു കാണുമ്പോൾ” – ‘വായിക്കുന്നവൻ ഗ്രഹിക്കട്ടെ’- മത്തായി 24:15.
വെറും ഒരു കെട്ടുകഥ; കാലക്രമത്തില്‍ സ്വീകാര്യത നേടുകയും, പിന്നീട് ഒഴിച്ചുകൂടാനാകാത്ത ആചാരമായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന കാഴ്ചയാണ് ഇവിടെ നാം കണ്ടത്!.
അ തിനുശേഷം വിധി എന്ന് നിശ്‌ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അതുപോലെതന്നെ ക്രിസ്‌തുവും വളരെപ്പേരുടെ പാപങ്ങള്‍ ഉന്‍മൂലനംചെയ്യുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടി ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യം അര്‍പ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. അവന്‍ വീണ്ടും വരും-പാപപരിഹാരാര്‍ഥ മല്ല, തന്നെ ആകാംക്‌ഷാപൂര്‍വം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ രക്‌ഷയ്‌ക്കുവേണ്ടി.
ഹെബ്രായര്‍ 9 : 27-28(CCC 668)
നിങ്ങളുടെ കര്‍ത്താവ്‌ ഏതു ദിവസം വരുമെന്ന്‌ അറിയാത്തതുകൊണ്ട്‌ നിങ്ങള്‍ ജാഗരൂകരായിരിക്കുവിന്‍.

സഭ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളിലൂടെ നീങ്ങുമ്പോള്‍ സഭയെത്തകര്‍ക്കാന്‍ സാത്താന്‍ കിണഞ്ഞ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ നമുക്കെങ്ങനെ ഓണം ആഘോഷിച്ച്, ഓണസദ്യയും കഴിച്ച് നിഗളിക്കാന്‍ സാധിക്കും? യേശു പറഞ്ഞു, പ്രാര്‍ഥനകൊണ്ടല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുകൊണ്ടും ഈ വര്‍ഗം(പിശാച്) പുറത്തുപോവുകയില്ല.
മര്‍ക്കോസ്‌ 9 : 29
നാം സഭയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില് ഓണാഘോഷവും ഓണസദ്യയും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് ആന്നേദിവസം നമുക്ക് ഉപവസിച്ച് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കാം.
“യഹോവയായ ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചയ്യുന്നു: നീ അവരുടെ (വിജാതിയരുടെ) ദേവന്മാരെ കുമ്പിടുകയോ ആരാധിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യരുത്. അവരുടെ ആചാരങ്ങള്‍ അനുകരിക്കരുത്.”. പുറപ്പാടു് 23:24.
വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ തൊട്ട് തൊഴാനോ കഴുന്നെടുക്കുന്ന അമ്പ് തൊട്ട് നമസ്ക്കരിക്കാനോ സഭ അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുന്‍പില്‍ നാം ഓരോരുത്തരും കണക്കുകൊടുക്കണം എന്നോര്‍ക്കുക.
ദൈവം ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ വെറുക്കുന്ന കാര്യമാണ് ദൈവമക്കള്‍ അന്യദേവന്‍മാരുടെ പിറകെ പോകുന്നത്. ഇസ്രായേല്‍ജനത്തെ ദൈവം ശിക്ഷിച്ചതിന്റെ പ്രധാന കരണം അവര്‍ അന്യദേവന്‍മാരുടെ പിറകെപോയി വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ആരാധിക്കുകയും കുമ്പിടുകയും വിഗ്രഹാര്‍പ്പിതവസ്തുക്കള്‍ ഭക്ഷിച്ചതും കൊണ്ടാണ്.
ഇന്ന് തിന്‍മ പെരുകുന്നതെന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ്? അസമാധാനവും രോഗങ്ങളും ദുഖഃങ്ങളും ദുരിതങ്ങളും വര്‍ദ്ദിക്കുന്നതെന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ്?. ഒന്നാം പ്രമാണം ലംഘിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടല്ലേ?
അവര്‍ അനശ്വരനായ ദൈവത്തിന്‍െറ മഹത്വം നശ്വരനായ മനുഷ്യന്‍െറ യോ പക്‌ഷികളുടെയോ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയോ ഇഴജന്തുക്കളുടെയോ സാദൃശ്യമുള്ള വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള്‍ക്കു കൈമാറി.
അതുകൊണ്ട്‌ ദൈവം, അവരെ തങ്ങളുടെ ഭോഗാസക്‌തികളോടുകൂടെ, ശരീരങ്ങള്‍ പരസ്‌പരം അവമാനിതമാക്കുന്നതിന്‌, അശുദ്‌ധിക്ക്‌ വിട്ടുകൊടുത്തു.
എന്തെന്നാല്‍, അവര്‍ ദൈവത്തിന്‍െറ സത്യം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് വ്യാജം സ്വീകരിച്ചു. അവര്‍ സ്രഷ്‌ടാവിലുമുപരി സൃഷ്‌ടിയെ ആരാധിക്കുകയും സേവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
റോമാ 1 : 23
നീ നിന്‍െറ ദൈവമായ കര്‍ത്താവിനെ പൂര്‍ണ ഹൃദയത്തോടും, പൂര്‍ണാത്‌മാവോടും, പൂര്‍ണമനസ്‌സോടും, പൂര്‍ണ ശക്‌തിയോടുംകൂടെ സ്‌നേഹിക്കുക.
മര്‍ക്കോസ്‌ 12 : 30
നിങ്ങള്‍ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില് എന്‍െറ കല്‍പന പാലിക്കും.
യോഹന്നാന്‍ 14 : 15. എന്‍െറ കല്‍പനകള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും പാലിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവനാണ്‌ എന്നെ സ്‌നേഹിക്കുന്നത്‌. എന്നെ സ്‌നേഹിക്കുന്നവനെ എന്‍െറ പിതാവും സ്‌നേഹിക്കും. ഞാനും അവനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുകയും എന്നെ അവനു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.
യേശു നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പരിഹാരമായി കുരിശില്‍ മരിച്ചു. തന്‍റെ സ്വന്ത രക്തം കൊടുത്ത് നമ്മെ വിലയ്ക്കു വാങ്ങി സ്വര്‍ഗരാജ്യത്തിന് അവകാശികളാക്കി. ആ ഒരു ബോദ്ധ്യം നമുക്കുണ്ടായിരിക്കണം. ആ സ്നേഹത്തിനു പകരം ഞാനെന്തു നല്കും....
നിങ്ങള്‍ സത്യം അറിയുകയും സത്യം നിങ്ങളെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

എന്താണ് സത്യം...
യേശു പറഞ്ഞു: വഴിയും സത്യവും ജീവനും ഞാനാണ്‌. എന്നിലൂടെയല്ലാതെ ആരും പിതാവിന്‍െറ അടുക്കലേക്കു വരുന്നില്ല.
യോഹന്നാന്‍ 14 : 6
യേശു പറഞ്ഞു, ഞാനാണ്‌ പുനരുത്‌ഥാനവും ജീവനും. എന്നില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്‍മരിച്ചാലും ജീവിക്കും.

അനന്തരം രാജാവ്‌ (യേശു) തന്‍െറ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തുള്ളവരോട്‌ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യും: എന്‍െറ പിതാവിനാല്‍ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരേ, വരുവിന്‍, ലോകസ്‌ഥാപനം മുതല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി സജ്‌ജമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന രാജ്യം അവകാശപ്പെടുത്തുവിന്‍.

ഇതാണു ശിക്‌ഷാവിധി: പ്രകാശം (യേശു ) ലോകത്തിലേക്കു വന്നിട്ടും മനുഷ്യര്‍ പ്രകാശത്തെക്കാള്‍ അധികമായി അന്‌ധകാരത്തെ സ്‌നേഹിച്ചു. കാരണം, അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികള്‍ തിന്‍മ നിറഞ്ഞതായിരുന്നു.
