Very Important Warning: Start the DIVINE MERCY Novena on GOOD FRIDAY (2nd April, 2021)

We are passing through very uncertain days. Millions of people who lived in this planet just like us, this time last year, are no more. Some of them might have heeded to the cautions and warnings given from Above through many sources and would have attained Eternal Bliss. But many unfortunate souls might be cursing themselves for not listening and may be groaning, murmuring and grinding their teeth. God alone knows!

The Holy Virgin Mother, Who is 'full of Grace' will give It in plenty so that you will be able to see clearly the unknown/hidden sins and drawbacks in your life.

How to Receive God's Mercy now... at this moment?

God's Mercy is limitless. The Holy Bible says that "God's Compassion  towards those who fear Him is so great as the heavens are high above the earth" and "As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; (Psalm 103).

God's Mercy can be sought and got instantly (free of cost) being at any place. All what is needed is a 'sense of sin' and a 'sincerely repenting heart'. If one can shed some tears thinking one's own wrong deeds/sins, the Eternal Father's compassion will hug that sinner. A honest confession must be made as soon as possible.

What and for what the 'Divine Mercy Novena and Chaplet'?

The 'Divine Mercy Devotion' is a Spiritual commitment taught by the Lord Himself through St Faustina. It is the last chance (hope) for anyone living on this earth. Through Divine Mercy Novena, even a very grave sinner can implore and obtain God's Mercy and attain eternal salvation (like the good thief). 

The Divine Mercy Novena should be begun on the 'Good Friday' and Prayed daily till the 'Divine Mercy Solemnity Day' ie on the 'first Sunday after Easter'. We can pray a Divine Mercy Chaplet (Rosary) for nine consecutive days and get forgiveness of all sins and indulgence also. In this year 2021, the Good Friday falls on the 2nd of April and the Divine Mercy Sunday is on the 11th of April.

Extraordinary Solemn Feasts of St Joseph Celebrated on March -19 and May-1, 2021

 

St Joseph, the just Husband of Holy Virgin Mother and the Forster Father of Lord Jesus Christ has two Solemn Feast Days in the Liturgical calendar every year. One is on March 19, His Birthday (official entry day) in Heaven and the other one is on May 1st Commemorating Him as the patron of all workers in the world.

Why is the Solemnity of St Joseph celebrated in a very special manner this year in 2021?

St Joseph has been venerated as the patron of families in the Catholic Church since beginning. In 1870 on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Virgin Mother (8th December) Pope Blessed Pius IX declared St Joseph as the Patron of the Universal Catholic Church.

This year commemorating the 150th anniversary of the declaration, Pope Francis proclaimed a 'very special year in honour of St Joseph' starting from 2020 Solemnity of Immaculate Conception to 2021 Feast ie on December 8th.

As the solemn feasts of St Joseph on March 19th and May 1st in 2021 falls in this special year, these feasts are also unusual and very extraordinary..!

Catholic Church clarifies Its stand on same-sex marriage and homosexuality

Following the release of the documentary titled 'Francesco' in October 2020, in which it is alleged that Pope Francis endorsing 'same-sex civil unions', there has been wide confusion and criticism inside and outside the Church saying that the Pope is encouraging 'gay marriages' by asking to legalize it.

The enemies of the Catholic Church used this opportunity very well to attack the Church, saying that the Church is deviating from the Teachings of the Holy Bible and framing its own rules and laws to suit the modern sinful lifestyles.  

Now putting an end to all the confusions that rose out of all the fake propagations, Vatican's 'Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith' (CDF) has released an official statement with clear explanation on the controversial issue. 

The Catholic Church's 'Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith' has made it clear with the approval of the Pope Francis through an official decree that the Church cannot bless same-sex unions or gay marriages.

The Christian community and its pastors must welcome with respect and sensitivity such persons with homosexual inclinations, but their unions cannot be blessed. The Church has a compassionate stand towards the rights and wellbeing of the LBGT persons. But as marriage is a 'Holy Sacrament' aimed for creation and as LBGT reunions do not pave way for it, it cannot be blessed as a sacrament.

Kreupasanam Shrine 'Reopened' for Udambadi registration and Renewal

There is a Happy News for the devoted children of the Holy Mother of Kreupasanam. Kreupasanam Marian Shrine situated in Kalavoor in Alappuzha of Kerala has re-opened for the public after being closed for nearly a year owing to covid-19 related lockdown. Kreupasanam Retreat Center has been serving as the last resort for many people in solving their various burning problems.

Numerous persons irrespective of any religious differences have testified that just stepping in the soil where Holy Mother of God appeared to Her devout son Rev Fr Joseph Valiyaveettil itself has given inexplicable solace and an instant solution to their hopeless issues that appeared unsolvable. 

During the covid related national lockdown, Kreupasanam Shrine too was closed in accordance with the directives issued by the Church authorities and the government. The 36th Kottayam Catholic Bible Convention is being held from the 10th to 14th of February 2021 in a Solemn manner. The Kottayam Bible Convention is jointly organized by the Kottayam Catholic Movement and the Kottayam Charismatic Zone.
