Here is the second episode of the Daniel Fasting Prayer Retreat by Shalom Ministry. Today is the first day of the 'DANIEL FASTING PRAYER'. Congratulations for receiving Heaven's invitation to join thousands of chosen ones from around the world to fast and intercede to God for the salvation of sinners and for saving the world from the pandemic. Only those who are called by the Divine FATHER can come near the LORD (Jn 6:44) or be a part of HIS Mission and join His banquet.

Please try to follow the instructions already given. God will listen to the humble cry of HIS people and show mercy. The world will witness the incredible and miraculous answer from God.

All human efforts taken collectively to tackle effectively the present pandemic conditions has proven futile. Neither man's knowledge nor his scientific inventions could find any solution to curb the spread of this coronvirus. Despite all vain attempts by man, the number of human beings becoming victims to corona virus is spiralling on a daily and hourly basis. This has caused the humanity including those belonging to the developed countries to realise the worthlessness of man. When medical science and human capabilities in which they relied upon failed, they began to shun their vices and turn to God as a last resort, Who alone is the ultimate refuge of the people.


Unless Almighty God Who is the creator and protector, shows HIS mercy, no human being will survive. To implore God's Mercy and compassion, we need to humble ourselves and engage in some spiritual activity that will appease God and will turn to His people's rescue.

In the Holy Bible, 'Daniel Fasting Prayer' is a very powerful and effective spiritual activity through which God rushes to the rescue of His people. When the people commit sins and go away from God's presence, they end up in self made miseries. And when they realize their sins and truly repent and do penance for their wrongdoings, God immediately comes to their aid. 


In the Holy Bible when prophet Daniel saw the afflictions of the people, he 'humbled' himself and observed fasting for three weeks (21 days). And we see God was pleased with His servant's fasting and came to their help.

To implore God's compassion and urgent intervention in our present state of sufferings, Shalom Ministry is holding a "Daniel Fasting Prayer" for the world. People from around the world can participate in this Noble Mission aimed for the global peace and well-being. Spirit-filled Charismatic Preacher Rev Dr Roy Palatty and team will be guiding this 21-days spiritual events through Shalom TV.


Three Prayer intentions of 'Daniel Fasting' (2020 August 01-21):

1. For protection from covid -19 pandemic, wars and global turmoil.

Daniel Fasting Prayer: To do list of Spiritual activities during 21-days:

1. Participate piously in the Holy Mass daily. [If possible directly or online]

2. Read and Meditate the Holy Word of God at least for 15 minutes.

3. Pray (at least) 1 Divine Mercy Chaplet (Rosary) beseeching God's Mercy.

4. Pray (at least) 1 Rosary Prayer for the above intentions.

5. Humble own selves and Pray Prophet Daniel's Prayer 25 times "Oh Lord hear; Oh Lord Forgive". Each time when this Prayer is said, kneel down and prostrate before God. (Those who cannot do this at a single stage, can complete in parts).

Not to do List of things (to abstain from) during 'Daniel Fasting':

Participating in this 'Daniel Fasting' Prayer Event is completely voluntary. Anyone from anywhere in the world can participate. Daniel Fasting does not ask anyone to observe fasting, but only abstain from taking certain food materials and other things which one likes most.

Those who are participating in this historical 'fasting' initiative are expected to avoid fish, meat, egg, milk and milk products, chocolates, etc. [Christians are supposed to avoid wine, beer, liquor, cigarettes etc always]. They are also expected to avoid extensive use of 'social medias' during these days.
